Al-Kharafi continues winning streak at Kuwait Equestrian Federation Championship
KUWAIT CITY, April 27: Kuwait Club's jockey Ali Al-Kharafi continued his impressive streak by winning the seventh round of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation League Championship, held at the Kuwait Equestrian Center track. Al-Kharafi clocked the fastest time of 34.95 seconds during an outstanding Grand Prix round at a height of 145 cm. Abdullah Al-Awadhi secured second and third places, followed by Anaaz Al-Anaaz, Fawaz Al-Subaie, and Hamad Al-Hajri. Ghazi Faisal Al-Jariwi, Secretary-General of the Equestrian Federation, crowned the winners. In addition to his Grand Prix victory, Al-Kharafi also topped the intermediate category at a height of 135 cm. Hamad Al-Hajri claimed the minor prize at 125 cm, while Mohammed Karam Ghuloum took first place in the 115 cm category. The opening day of the tournament also saw Al-Kharafi claim the grand prize at a height of 140 cm, further cementing his dominance. Secretary-General Ghazi Al-Jariwi praised the exceptional standard of Kuwaiti equestrian sports, highlighting the emergence of talented young riders across all levels — beginners, intermediate, and advanced — and the spirited competition seen throughout the event.

Ali Al-Kharafi qualifies for World Cup finals
KUWAIT CITY, March 16: Kuwait Equestrian Club rider Ali Jassim Al-Kharafi secured first place in the Grand Prix round of the third round of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation League, riding at a height of 140 cm with a time of 34.87 seconds in the qualifying round. He was followed by riders Abdullah Al-Awadhi, Abdullah Al-Roudhan, Yara Al-Hunaidi, Hussein Al-Kharafi, Rakan Al-Hasawi, Dalia Al-Zahem, Khaled Al-Khubaizi, and Fawaz Al-Subaie. The champions were crowned by Ghazi Faisal Al-Jariwi, Secretary General of the Equestrian Federation. Al-Kharafi also clinched victory in the ninth round at a height of 130 cm, while Musab Al-Otaibi triumphed in the eighth round at 120 cm. On the first day of the tournament, international rider Ali Al-Kharafi won the main round at a height of 135-140 cm. Ghazi Al-Jariwi praised the intense competition among riders from various clubs in all categories, ranging from beginners to intermediate and advanced levels. It is worth noting that Ali Al-Kharafi is the defending champion of the local league and recently qualified for the 2025 World Cup Finals in Switzerland, marking a significant achievement for both Al-Kharafi and Kuwait's equestrian sports.
