MP takes part in yoga session at blind school

Mysuru: MP Yaduveer Wadiyar visited the Govt School for the Blind and interacted with visually challenged students after their participation in the inclusive yoga session on Saturday. During the interaction, Yaduveer commended the students for their commitment to learning and practising yoga and emphasised the need to scale inclusive approaches nationwide. The MP also held discussions with Dr Ananthalakshmi V, CEO of EquiBeing Foundation, regarding the organisation's flagship initiative, EquiYog—a long-term programme that trains visually impaired children in adapted yoga techniques using verbal instructions, spatial awareness, and breath-based methods. "Mysuru is known for its deep-rooted yoga tradition. It is time we expand this legacy by ensuring that children with disabilities are included in yoga," said Yaduveer.
