'Days of Our Lives' Fan Favorite Has Message For Co-Stars: 'You've Earned This'
'Days of Our Lives' Fan Favorite Has Message For Co-Stars: 'You've Earned This' originally appeared on Parade. Days of Our Lives legend Stephen Nichols had a sweet message for his co-stars after the Daytime Emmy Award nominations came out. Nichols didn't earn a nod, but the hit Peacock soap and several of his fellow cast members did. Taking to Instagram, Nicholas shared a photo of all his nominated co-stars and the other categories in which Days of Our Lives received a nod. The daytime drama earned 13 nominations in total, and Nichols had something to say about it.'I'm so proud to see Days of our Lives honored with multiple Daytime Emmy nominations. To my castmates, our incredible crew, and everyone who pours their heart into this show— you've earned this! Grateful to walk this journey with you. 👏🎬 ❤️ #Days #DaytimeEmmys #Family,' read the caption on his social media share. Nichols' co-stars, Paul Telfer (Xander), Eric Martsolf (Brady), and Ashley Puzemis (Holly), who were all nominated for a Daytime Emmy, left emojis to respond to his post. Meanwhile, nominees Greg Rikaart (Leo) and Blake Berris (Everett/Bobby) had some words for Nichols. 'You're the man @stephen_e_nichols,' wrote Berris, while Rikaart replied, 'Thank you, Stephen! 💥💥.' The Young and the Restless star and Days of Our Lives alum Eileen Davidson popped into the comments to share 'congratulations!' to all the nominees. Davidson was nominated for her role as Ashley on the hit CBS soap. Days of our Lives stars Cherie Jimenez (Gabi) and Martha Madison (Belle) left emojis on the social media post. Wally Kurth (Justin) also took time to share his excitement over the show's multiple Daytime Emmy nominations. 'Yes!! All of you congratulations! So well deserved!! Enjoy the recognition 👏👏👏👏,' the actor expressed. Fans chimed in to share their happiness and excitement for Days of Our Lives. 'So awesome! Congrats to all! And so well deserved!🙌❤️' and 'So excited to watch this year. So many from Days !' A few comments wondered why Deidre Hall (Marlena), the late Drake Hogestyn (John), and Nichols were not nominated. Perhaps Hall and Nichols will get nods next year for John's passing on the show. Then again, fans were certain Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) would get a Daytime Emmy nomination for Doug's (Bill Hayes) death, but that did not happen. As Parade reported, fans slammed the Emmy voters for not including Hayes. The actress spoke out on the snub, proving once again she's a class act. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on Peacock. July 1 Brings Hard Truths for Johnny and a Twist for Rachel in DAYS Spoilers
Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, July 1 demonstrate that it's now how old you are, but how helpless you are, as Brady and Kristen fight over Rachel… and EJ and Chanel draw battle lines over Johnny. Now that Johnny (Carson Boatman) has told pretty much all of Salem that he had a gun, but he didn't shoot EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), Rachel (Alice Halsey) doesn't need to keep her secret anymore. Which should put an end to her mysterious stomach aches. It doesn't, however, put an end to Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) sniping over what's best for her. That crisis may be over, but considering how many times it's been mentioned recently that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) raised Rachel for a year before Brady and Kristen got her back, is there another crisis looming on the horizon? MORE: Find out what else happens on DAYS this week. Johnny isn't a child, like Rachel. But EJ still sees him as one. More worrying, so does his wife. Chanel (Raven Bowens) goes storming over to her father-in-law's home to yell at him about Johnny. They need to take care of him. So do Roman (Josh Taylor), Marlena (Deidre Hall), and Kate (Lauren Koslow). Because everyone agrees, Johnny is NOT capable of doing that himself. WATCH THIS: Did you know Soap Hub has a podcast?! Check it out here! It may be summertime, and they may have graduated from high school, but Sophia (Rachel Boyd) and Tate (Leo Howard) aren't exactly taking it easy. Sophia reminds Tate they still need to find adoptive parents for their baby, because the due date is sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, Ari (Marisa Reyes) continues making herself at home by looking up Doug (Peyton Meyer) and seeing if they can pick up where they left off, not exactly friends, more like vague acquaintances, with benefits. Days of Our Lives spoilers: EJ sends Rachel away?
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Rachel's tummy trouble is fast becoming a problem for EJ on Days of Our Lives, so will he end up sending her away to protect his secret? In the June 20 episode of Days, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) discovered that Brady (Eric Martsolf) knew that Rachel (Alice Halsey) saw Johnny (Carson Boatman) shoot EJ on that fateful night. Since then, the young girl has been plagued by stomach issues, no doubt caused by the stress of her uncle's secret eating away at her. After getting sick ahead of the graduation ceremony, Brady took Rachel to the hospital to visit Sarah (Lynsey Godfrey) for yet another check-up. Sarah figured out that something was bothering Rachel, and it wasn't the loss of her Grandpa John (Drake Hogestyn). Given how close Rachel was to John, Sarah quickly determined that whatever the secret is, it's a big one. Brady assured Sarah that Rachel will continue with therapy, but that's not the end of it. Later, during a girl's night sleepover with her grandmother, Rachel mumbled 'No, don't shoot him' while she was dreaming, leading Marlena (Deidre Hall) to wonder what was going on. Naturally, it won't take much to connect the dots between Rachel's upset stomach — a result of stress — and the fact that EJ is the only person who has been shot (recently, at least) in Salem. This presents a massive problem for EJ, who is working to protect his son from being charged with the crime. EJ will do anything to protect Johnny, but we doubt he'd go so far as to 'disappear' Rachel. Now that Brady, and eventually Marlena, know what's going on with Rachel, it's going to be a race against time for EJ to find a way to get Rachel away from Salem until the heat dies down. This leads us to wonder if he'll propose a grand summer trip for her. Whether it's summer camp or a European getaway, or heck, even a whole summer traveling to theme parks, EJ will likely do whatever he can to get Rachel out of town before too many people start asking questions. Days of Our Lives streams weekdays on Peacock.
