Actress Taylor Russell has reportedly exited Michael B Jordan's 'The Thomas Crown Affair' due to creative differences, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Now, the makers will look for another actor to play her part in the upcoming romantic heist film, directed by Michael B Jordan and written by Drew Pearce. The film is currently in production in London, as per the outlet. 'The Thomas Crown Affair' is a remake of the 1968 film of the same name, directed by Norman Jewison and written by Alan Trustman. According to the entertainment news outlet Deadline, Russell was cast alongside Michael B Jordan in the film. But she left the project citing creative differences as the reason for her exit. The studio will soon recast for her role. 'The Thomas Crown Affair" is the remake of the 1968 romantic heist thriller. Directed by Norman Jewison, the film featured Faye Dunaway and Steve McQueen. The story revolved around a billionaire art thief who engages in a cat-and-mouse game with an investigator. Now, on the heels of her latest musical effort, Taylor is opening up about the couple's relationship. In an interview with Complex to promote her upcoming visual EP Escape Room , Taylor gushed about the role that Pierre played in the creative process, but also how he navigates their relationship, allowing her to tap into her soft girl era. It felt good to have someone be as passionate and as serious as you are…To have someone on your side fully hear you and don't think that your visions are crazy,' she said of how Pierre was supportive of her creative process. Speaking of their relationship dynamic, Taylor stated that Pierre handles her very delicately, something that she appreciates. 'I'm very big on how you handle me, and I feel like you gotta handle me like a cup of tea.' 'With a cup of tea you walk slower, you're more calm, you're more delicate,' Taylor continued.
