A CRASH on a major Castle Point roundabout connecting Canvey and Benfleet to the A13 and A130 is causing long queues of traffic this morning. The crash on Sadlers farm roundabout was first reported at approximately 8.30am this morning and has partially blocked one of the lanes, causing traffic jams in both directions. A130 Canvey Way partially blocked northbound by a collision about midway between Somnes Avenue and A13 – traffic queues back to Somnes Avenue – also delays northbound on Canvey Road to Benfleet High Street. — Essex Travel News (@Essex_Travel) June 12, 2025 Queues are most severe on the A130 both ways between B1014 Somnes Avenue and Sadlers Farm Roundabout, with Canvey way and London Road being impacted by the slow-moving traffic.

TRAFFIC is moving slowly on the M25 following an earlier crash on the Kent side of the Dartford Crossing QE2 Bridge. Clockwise traffic between Junction 29 for the A127 and the entrance to the QE2 Bridge is facing disruption. Drivers travelling in both directions can expect to see journey times extended as traffic builds around the busy junction. A CRASH on the A127 Southend Arterial Road this morning has partially blocked the road and is causing a heavy build up of traffic. Traffic is slow both ways between Kent Elms Corner and Progress Road. The incident was first reported at 5.22am this morning and traffic continues to build in the area. A CRASH involving several vehicles at the Pitsea flyover has seen part of the Southend-bound A13 closed with traffic stretching back towards Five Bells. Delays are building along the A176 following the road closure, which was first reported at around 3.20pm.
