Twelve day beer festival with pints at just £1.99 coming to Wiltshire pub

A twelve day beer festival is set to take place at a Warminster pub. The Bath Arms, in Market Place, will host the festival from Wednesday, March 5, to Sunday, March 16. A range of real ales, including five from international brewers, will be available at the Wetherspoon pub. The overseas brewers, all female, are from Italy, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the USA. The beers on sale in the festival have not previously been available at the pub. As well as featuring a range of different malt and hop varieties from around the world, there are also beers that include cherries and cocoa beans in their ingredients. The beers will cost £1.99 a pint. The international beers are Hey Pal (Terrapin Brewery, USA), Estuary Session Ale (Land & Sea Brewery, Canada), Wallaby (Penny Red Brewery, Australia), Chocolate Porta (Birra Perugia Brewery, Italy), and Antiopdean (Brew Moon Brewery, New Zealand). The festival line-up also includes Alpha Female (Rooster's), Loopy Loo (Batemans), Chase the Sun (Vale), Cherry Nice (Greene King), Queen of Hearts (St Austell), Mocha Porter (Elgood's), Grand Union (Hook Norton), and Blossom (Black Sheep). Pub manager Tyler Baird said: "The festival is a great celebration of real ale. "It will allow us to showcase a selection of superb beers, featuring beers not previously available to our customers in the pub, including those from brewers as far afield as Australia and New Zealand, as well as those closer to home, over a 12-day period. "All of the beers will be available at great value-for-money prices." Tasting notes on all of the beers will be available in the pub as part of the festival magazine (a digital version will also be available on the Wetherspoon app and website). All ales will be available to order at the bar or via the Wetherspoon app.

A 12-day beer festival featuring 30 real ales, many never before available, is set to come to four Wetherspoon pubs in south Essex. The Last Post, The Elms, Parson's Barn, and The Roebuck will host the event from March 5 to March 16. Prices will range from £1.99 to £2.15 a pint. The selection includes exclusive new brews, vegan options, and ales made with cherries and cocoa beans. There will also be five international ales from female brewers in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Italy. The international beers are Hey Pal from Terrapin Brewery, Estuary Session Ale from Land & Sea Brewery, Wallaby from Penny Red Brewery, Chocolate Porta from Birra Perugia Brewery, and Antiopdean from Brew Moon Brewery. Steven Clayton, manager of The Last Post, said: "The festival is a great celebration of real ale. "All of the beers will be available at great value-for-money prices." The festival will run from Wednesday, March 5, to Sunday, March 16, and will feature up to 30 real ales, including five from international brewers. The overseas brewers, all female, are from Italy, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the USA. The international beers are Hey Pal, from Terrapin Brewery in the USA, Estuary Session Ale, from Land & Sea Brewery in Canada and Wallaby, from Penny Red Brewery in Australia. There's also Chocolate Porta, from Birra Perugia Brewery in Italy, and Antipodean, from Brew Moon Brewery in New Zealand. Beers will be priced from £1.99 to £2.15 a pint. The festival line-up also includes Alpha Female (Rooster's), Loopy Loo (Batemans), Chase the Sun (Vale), Cherry Nice (Greene King), Queen of Hearts (St Austell), Mocha Porter (Elgood's), Grand Union (Hook Norton), and Blossom (Black Sheep). Participating pubs are The Woodrow Wilson and The William Rufus, both in Botchergate, Carlisle, as well as The Bransty Arch in Bransty Row, Whitehaven, The Henry Bessemer in New Oxford Street, Workington, and The Chief Justice of the Common Pleas in Bank Street, Keswick.
