Zomato parent sees Q1 profit plunge 90%

BENGALURU: Eternal-the listed parent of
Zomato
- posted a net profit of Rs 25 crore, an over 90% decline from Rs 253 crore in the year-ago period, due to increased investments in Blinkit and other emerging segments. Eternal reported a 70% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue to Rs 7,167 crore for the quarter.
