FKA Twigs Teases ‘Eusexua' Deluxe Version With New Single ‘Perfectly'
FKA Twigs FKA Twigs kicked off the year with, in her words, a 'booming thud of culture' with the release of her third studio album Eusexua. The 'Childlike Things' singer kicked off her Eusexua Tour in the spring, and in June, she teased the release of a deluxe version of the album with a listening event with fans. It appears that Twigs is preparing for the next chapter of the Eusexua era with the release of the new single 'Perfectly.' 'And so the offerings begin again,' she wrote in an Instagram post seemingly inaugurating the rollout. 'If 'Eusexua' was the tip of the tongue, 'Perfectly' is the esophagus,' she said. 'I wonder what lays in the belly of the beast.' An upbeat club track complemented by Twigs' ethereal vocals, 'Perfectly' embodies the best of what Eusexua has to offer and shows that the shelf life of the album is nowhere near over yet. "Another day, leave it all to another day / Leave it all to another day, another me / And when I'm done, they'll say I did it perfectly," she sings on the track. 'A sky of blue, a sea of green / A messy room, fits perfеctly / Inside my head I have thе best time / Yes, in my head, I have the best time.' Twigs previously explained on social media what Eusexua means to her, not just as a project of alt-dance music but as part of her artistic identity. 'Eusexua has been my practice for the years that it has been in creation. It is my opus and truly feels like a pin at the center of the core of my artist,' she said. 'Eusexua was birthed in chicken scratch, written on the back of my hand in a toilet at a rave in Prague: 'This room of fools, we make something together' and we do. We rave, we sweat, we kiss, we make love to the booming thud of culture.' The Eusexua Tour wraps up Aug. 9 in Budapest.

She was a vision in a feathered flapper dress at the biggest fashion event of the year on Monday, putting on a leggy display with a daring thigh high split in her eye-catching green skirt. While Twigs oozed glamor on the carpet, it seems as though her attendance caused a stir on social media from perplexed fans who believed that she was still facing visa problems - despite her recently explaining this had been resolved. It comes after she had been forced to ax several of her US and Latin America dates at the end of March, including Coachella. Taking to X, many voiced their confusion, as they wrote: 'But wait I thought her visa wasn't valid?'; 'Oh suddenly her visa works…'; 'So, she got her visa for the met gala but not Coachella… okay girl,'; 'So she had visa issues for performing in Latin America and the U.S. but not for attending the Met Gala. I see how it is,'. Twigs, however, recently explained that the 'ongoing visa issues' had been down to her production team not filing the correct paperwork in time for her US shows - hence her appearance at the Met Gala. In a video posted online, she explained: 'Hi everyone, I wanted to come on here to talk to you and address some things that have been happening behind the scenes in my world. 'Behind the scenes practically with production and the more practical side of putting this tour together so today I was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner to have our visas to come for the USA to perform. 'I don't take this lightly, I am completely devastated to be honest with you, I am heartbroken.' She added: 'So with that being said, I will be rescheduling these shows and information will be coming on that very shortly. 'I can't wait to bring Eusexua to you, it's truly been one of the greatest achievements of my life.' Twigs was due to perform in Chicago on March 26 and in Toronto, Canada on March 30 which would have been followed by two shows in New York on April 3 and 4. She had previously confirmed the axed tour dates in a statement posted to Instagram. At the time, she wrote in a statement: 'It pains me to say this because I am so excited to bring you a creation that I have poured my soul into and I believe is amongst my strongest work and I know this news impacts so many of you that have already made plans and spent money in order to see these shows.'

Mexican regional act Grupo Firme have pulled out of their scheduled appearance at the La Onda Festival this weekend after their visas were unexpectedly suspended. The performance was set to take place on Sunday (June 1st) in Napa Valley, CA. The band said their visas are 'under administrative review by the U.S. Embassy,' per an Instagram statement obtained by the Associated Press, and stated it would be 'impossible' to stage their show. Due to the confidential nature of visa proceedings, the AP also corroborated the U.S. Embassy in Mexico could not provide any additional information at this time. Grupo Firme isn't the only Mexican act facing visa issues as of late; last month, Julión Álvarez abruptly postponed a sold-out show in Arlington, TX, after his work visa was revoked, barring his entry into the States. Both acts are known for performing narco-corridos, a genre that has long stirred debate. While critics argue these songs glorify cartel leaders, supporters contend they offer a raw reflection of the difficult realities faced by youth entangled in the drug trade. Amid the growing controversy, Grupo Firme has taken steps in recent months to stop performing narco-corridos live. Beyond the targeting of Latino musicians, Canadian trans musician Bells Larsen had to cancel his US tour because 'US Immigration now only recognizes identification that corresponds with one's assigned sex at birth.' FKA Twigs Cancels Coachella Performances, Remaining Tour Dates Over Visa Issues
Due to visa issues, FKA Twigs has to drop out of her scheduled live performances. On Friday, Twigs took to Instagram to announce the cancellations. 'I'm devastated to share the news that due to ongoing visa issues I am not able to see through any of my scheduled tour dates for the remainder of April across North America, including Ceremonia and Coachella,' she captioned the post along with a carousel of photos from the Eusexua Tour. 'It pains me to say this because I am so excited to bring you a creation that I have poured my soul into and I believe is amongst my strongest work.'
