Shillong Lajong FC notched up a second successive win as it downed Rangdajied United FC 3-1 in a Group-E league match of the 134th Durand Cup at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong on Tuesday. The traditional rivals fought hard for the lead, which came Lajong's way in the added time of the opening half as Everbrightson Sana found the mark. But Mebanshngain equalised for Rangdajied in the 58th minute. Lajong shifted gears and scored through Damait Lyngdoh (66th) and Gladdy Kharbuli (80th) to secure the win. Lajong also went to the top of the standings with six points. Sanan Mohammed produced the only goal of the match early in the second half to help Jamshedpur FC secure a solitary goal win over Indian Army Football Team in a Group-C match at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur.
