Clark is the highest-profile employee so far to testify in the trial against her former boss. The prosecution witness was cross-examined by Combs' attorney, Marc Agnifilo, in the high-profile criminal proceedings in Manhattan. Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. This came after Clark described witnessing her then boss beat and kick Ventura amid the love triangle with Kid Cudi - whose real name is Scott Mescudi. She revealed their discussion during Agnifilo's final question to her in court. He asked about a claim she had made during a meeting last year with Combs' lawyers, reported The Washington Post. Clark had allegedly told Ventura years ago that she should break up with Combs. Clark alleged Ventura had replied that, 'Jay-Z was taken" and she asked, "who would she date?' Horror full unedited vid shows Sean 'Diddy' Combs attack on ex Cassie Ventura during 'freak off' party in LA However, she did not say when this alleged conversation between her and Ventura took place. The comment came after Clark repeatedly shed tears on the stand. She also testified on Tuesday that the hip-hop mogul had allegedly threatened to kill her during her first day on the job. Clark alleged, too, that Combs had waved a gun as he kidnapped her years later in an angry rush to find and kill rapper Kid Cudi. Combs was angry that Cudi was dating Ventura, Clark told jurors. Clark, who referred to Combs as "Puff," alleged he arrived at her home holding a gun, and demanded she get dressed because "we're going to kill Cudi." GOT A GUN With her voice shaky, Clark recounted how they rode in a black Cadillac Escalade to Cudi's Los Angeles home. Upon their arrival, Combs and his bodyguard entered the residence, while Clark sat in the SUV and called Ventura, the court heard. Clark testified she told Ventura that "Combs got me with a gun and brought me to Cudi's house to kill him." Clark said she heard Cudi in the background asking, "He's in my house?" She told Ventura, "Stop him, he's going to get himself killed." But Ventura told her she "couldn't stop Cudi," she recalled. Combs kicked Cassie with 100% full force as she curled on the ground outside his home in a fetal position and wept silently Combs then returned to the Escalade and asked Clark who she was talking to, she alleged, before grabbing the phone and calling Ventura back. They next heard Cudi driving up the road, Clark added. Combs and his bodyguard got back in the SUV and chased after Cudi, finally giving up when they passed police cars that were heading to Cudi's house. After the alleged break-in, Clark said that Combs told her she had to convince Cudi "it wasn't me." "If you don't convince him of that, I'll kill all you," he was claimed to have said, stressing his threat with an expletive, Clark alleged. 8 Sean "Diddy" Combs' former assistant Capricorn Clark reacts during testimony at her ex-boss's sex trafficking trial in New York City Credit: Reuters 8 Rap moguls Combs, left, and Jay-Z Credit: AP Clark said she and Ventura then went to Cudi's home, as she told jurors, "We needed to talk to him. We needed to make sure he wasn't going to make a police report about Puff." ASSAULT After that, she said, she watched in shock as Combs viciously assaulted Ventura over her relationship with Cudi. Combs kicked Ventura "with 100% full force to the legs and back as she curled on the ground outside his home in a fetal position and wept silently," Clark told jurors. Clark said her heart was breaking from seeing her being beaten, and that neither she nor Combs' bodyguard intervened. The answer prompted an objection from Combs' lawyers, and Judge Arun Subramanian told jurors to disregard it. COMPLICATED Clark said she had worked on-and-off for Combs - and that she still missed the job. It was a "complicated" situation, she added. Clark was the former global brand director for Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment. Prosecutors had called her to support a charge that he led a two-decade racketeering conspiracy that relied on beefy bodyguards, death threats and the silence of frightened staff to ensure he got what he wanted. Cudi testified last week that Combs allegedly broke into his home and hurt his dog in a jealous rage over his relationship. Ventura has reportedly given birth two weeks after testifying in her ex's trial. TRIAL CONTINUES Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to an indictment alleging he abused his longtime girlfriend, R&B singer Ventura, and others. If convicted, he could face 15 years to life in prison. Deonte Nash, a celebrity stylist and a friend of Ventura's, is testifying in Combs' sex-trafficking trial on Thursday. Since the rapper's arrest, he has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. 8 Sean Combs and actress Cassie Ventura in 2016 Credit: Getty

The grandfather, 47, who had been walking to the grocery store to buy ingredients to make soup, was later pronounced dead at a hospital. The star had been driving an SUV and making a left turn in Alhambra, California, east of Los Angeles on March 18, 2024, when he crashed into Sanchez, officials told a court. Klinghoffer was charged on August 29 with vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence, a misdemeanor that can bring a maximum of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine. He was not charged with having any violent intent, only with a failure to yield. Rolling Stone reported on May 28 that Klinghoffer accepted a no-jail plea deal on Wednesday when he appeared in a courtroom in Alhambra, California. The musician pleaded no contest to misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence. The victim's only daughter burst into tears while she told Klinghoffer in court that he had caused her 'deep and lasting trauma." Los Angeles County Judge Rosa Fregoso sentenced him to one year of informal probation and 60 days of community labor. Plus, Klinghoffer was ordered to complete a driver safety class and pay restitution - the sum of which will be decided at a later date. Pearl Jam guitarist sued after 'fatally hitting a grandpa with his car' He had been driving a black 2022 GMC Yukon at the time of the fatal crash, the court was told. Sanchez's cause of death was blunt force trauma. A prosecutor warned the defendant about the dangers of distracted driving. He was told, 'If you continue to drive while distracted, and as a result of your driving someone is killed, you can be charged with murder." Klinghoffer replied that he understood. His absence has left an irreversible void in our lives The dead man's daughter, Ashley Sanchez, burst into tears while telling the court about her beloved dad. She said in her victim impact statement, "My father was an extraordinary grandfather to my [children]. 'His absence has left an irreversible void in our lives.' She also recalled him as the "heart" of the family, who had a "unique gift for soothing,' while his meals were "more than just food - they were expressions of love and care." Speaking directly to Klinghoffer, Ashley added that the death of her dad had caused her 'deep and lasting trauma.' It was also an 'avoidable loss that has shaken my family," she said. CIVIL LAWSUIT In July 2024, Ashley launched a lawsuit for wrongful death and negligence against the star. According to legal filings, plaintiffs alleged Klinghoffer was driving a black SUV with no license plates and turned left at an intersection with a marked crosswalk. Video from the plaintiffs shows a black car hitting a man - Israel Sanchez - during the turn before pulling over. The footage was obtained from a neighbor's Ring camera. The lawsuit alleged Klinghoffer 'was likely driving while distracted' and 'made no braking or slowing motion until after he fatally struck.' The civil case is set to be heard on July 1. 'My dad was known for being a great chef, the most talented of his family, the greatest grandpa always full of love and joy,' Ashley said in a news release last July. 'His smile was so infectious. His life was taken by a careless act of a person who didn't bother to look where he was driving," she alleged. DAMAGES DENIED In January, a judge denied the family's renewed attempt to seek damages in the lawsuit, Rolling Stone reported. The judge ruled for a second time that the stated claims against Klinghoffer failed to rise to the level of 'willful and conscious disregard' for the safety of others, the outlet added. Before touring with Pearl Jam, Klinghoffer rose to fame as the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In 2012, he and the band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, making him one of the youngest inductees ever. in 2019, he left the band to become a touring member of Pearl Jam and Jane's Addiction. 5 Israel Sanchez, who died after being hit while walking in a crosswalk east of Los Angeles Credit: Trial Lawyers for Justice

Marcus Rashford accepts he will NEVER play for Manchester United again
Marcus Rashford has ambitions to play in next season's Champions League and wants to leave Manchester United in the summer following his loan spell with Aston Villa Marcus Rashford has accepted that he will never play for Manchester United again. England star Rashford, on loan at Aston Villa until the end of the season, knows he has no future at United while Rubem Amorim is in charge and is therefore plotting his next career move. Rashford scored his fourth goal since making the switch to Villa in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat for Unai Emery's side at Manchester City, to continue his upturn in form since leaving United. Although Rashford is under contract at United until 2028, head coach Amorim does not want the 27-year-old to return to the club when his loan spell at Villa is up. That has cemented Rashford's resolve to find a new permanent club this summer, but he is unlikely to remain in the Premier League, with a move to Spain an attractive option. Villa have a £40million option to buy Rashford at the end of the loan agreement, but it is understood he does not favour a permanent move there and sees his future elsewhere. Rashford wants to decide his next move and it is understood his representatives do not plan to address his future and hold talks with United until at least mid-June. Sources close to Rashford have told Mirror Football the forward does not want to move to a London club but does want to play in the Champions League next season. Villa's hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League suffered a setback with the defeat at City, in which Rashford equalised from the penalty spot. Emery's side sit seventh in the table, two points behind fifth-placed Newcastle. Rashford's representatives have also moved to rule out a player swap deal with the likes of Villa's Ollie Watkins or Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze, both of whom have interested United. Having lost his England place when his form deserted him at United, Rashford earned a recall on the back of his upturn at Villa, with six assists to add to his four goals from 17 appearances. Asked about Rashford's impact since switching to Villa, boss Emery said: 'I'm so happy with him. He's performing very well. 'He's been really important for us and he has to keep going. Now, on Saturday, hopefully he can help us again [in the FA Cup semi-final] and, like everybody, be ready and focused on this match.' From the outside, Rashford's plans to depart United do not come as a surprise to some. Ex-Red Devil Teddy Sheringham believes the player's body language has spoken volumes. "I don't think there's a way back for Marcus Rashford at Man United," he told when questioned about a potential return to his parent side. "I don't think he wants to. "I look at the body language he giving off at Villa, and it's like he couldn't be any happier to be further away from Manchester United if he tried, to be honest. I think that's the vibe."
