Of the 67 Strategic Projects and Initiatives under Tripoli based Libyan Prime Minister Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba's government that are underway, 8 are completed and 29 to start by end of 2025.
The revelation came in an extensive meeting held by Aldabaiba in Tripoli today to followed up on the progress of the Executive Team for Strategic Initiatives and Projects, where the head of the team, Mustafa Al-Mana, presented a detailed presentation of the initiatives and projects.
This included the progress in their completion, evaluating their performance according to approved indicators, following up on the implementation timetables, and developing solutions to the challenges facing some projects.

In a detailed presentation, Al-Mana explained that the number of projects and initiatives reached 67 initiatives and projects, of which 8 projects have been completed, while 10 other projects will be opened before the end of the year. In addition, 20 projects are under contract, and 29 projects under implementation. These projects include infrastructure, modernization and development, roads and bridges, airports and ports, as well as educational, health, developmental, environmental and economic initiatives.
Quality and punctuality are key to projects
During the meeting, Aldabaiba stressed that the success of these projects is measured by their commitment to the highest quality standards and their completion within the specified timetables, stressing that any delay in implementation is unacceptable.
Priority to projects that improve quality of life
The Prime Minister also directed the need to give priority to projects that directly affect the lives of citizens, and are reflected in improving services and raising the quality of life in various cities and regions of the country.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Minister of Transport and Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, and the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, Al-Mana indicated that the presentation of the report comes within the framework of the objective evaluation of the selection and implementation of projects, and the commitment to disclosure and transparency about all projects and their implementation process.
