Sana'a.. Launching first phase of Bani Hukm Road paving project in Arhab
Sana'a - Saba: The Executive Unit in Sana'a province launched on Monday work on the first phase of the Bani Hukm road paving project in Arhab District, spanning 1,100 meters in length and six meters in width. During the inauguration, the province Advisor, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Murtada, the province's Works officials, Engineer Muhammad Ashia, the Executive Unit's Engineer Muhammad Makram, and Arhab District Director Khaled Al-Aqeeda, received a detailed explanation from Project Director Engineer Hussein Abu Maskah about the project's components. The project is being implemented by the Executive Unit under the supervision of the province's Works Sector and funded by the local authority at a cost of 63 million Yemeni riyals. Engineer Abu Maskah clarified that the work is progressing according to technical standards, specifications, and the scheduled timeframe outlined in the tender documents. During the visit, Al-Murtada, Ashia, Makram, and Al-Aqeeda emphasized the importance of executing the project in accordance with the specified standards to help maintain transportation means and alleviate citizens' hardships. Sana'a Governor inspects progress on 30th street paving & Al-Nasr Al-Wahdawi School Projects
Sana'a - Saba: Sana'a Governor Abdulbasit Al-Hadi inspected on Saturday the progress of the paving and construction project for 30th Street, located on the border of Al-Sawad, in the districts of New Sana'a and Sanhan. Governor Al-Hadi, accompanied by the Technical Affairs Deputy Governor, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, reviewed the completed work on the street, which is being implemented over a length of 962 meters and a width of 30 meters at a cost of 201 million Yemeni riyals, funded by the local authority in the province. Al-Hadi was briefed by the Director of Public Works, Engineer Muhammad Ashia, and the Acting Head of the Executive Unit, Engineer Muhammad Makram, on the progress of the project, which has reached 70% completion, as well as the challenges facing its implementation. During the visit, the Governor of Sana'a stressed the need to overcome obstacles and address issues hindering the project's completion, emphasizing the local authority's commitment to providing support to ensure the project's success, which will contribute to easing traffic flow in the two districts. In a separate visit, Governor Al-Hadi and his delegation inspected the construction project of Al-Nasr Al-Wahdawi School in New Sana'a District, implemented through a community initiative at an estimated cost of 120 million riyals, funded by the local authority, the Central Interventions Unit, and local citizens. Officials in charge of the project provided an explanation of the progress and the circumstances that led to the implementation of the school project, which had been approved over twenty years ago. The project includes the construction of 14 classrooms, along with administrative offices, storage facilities, and other annexes. During the visit, Governor Al-Hadi urged those responsible to redouble their efforts to complete the project according to technical specifications, budget, and scheduled timeline. Capital, Sana'a,... Ongoing & Efforts for Maintenance & Restoration of Streets
Sana'a - Saba: The Capital, Sana'a, is currently undergoing intensive rehabilitation, maintenance, and paving of several main streets, tunnels, and flood channels. The work is being carried out by teams from the Executive Unit for the Construction, Maintenance, and Development of Roads and Public Places, with funding from the local authority. Over the past two weeks, the Executive Unit's field teams have laid new asphalt layers, leveled, compacted, and restored a number of dilapidated streets and sections, and addressed potholes, depressions, and undulations. The layers cover an area of 8,250 square meters, and repairs 1,466 square meters, and the holes were filled with 196 tons of hot asphalt. The emergency restoration and maintenance projects and works implemented by the unit in various directorates of the capital included the rehabilitation and maintenance of Amran Street in the Thawra Directorate, starting from the Clock Tunnel and Bridge, passing through Television Street to the beginning of the Amran Roundabout Bridge, with an area of 6,750 square meters, new layers and 30 tons of asphalt to fill the holes, in addition to the restoration of the Clock Tunnel. The projects also included the maintenance and restoration of "Safar, Iran and Beirut" streets in the Hadda area of the As-Sab'een district, with an area of 600 square meters, as well as the restoration of Madbah Street in the Ma'in district, with an area of 1,500 square meters, an asphalt layer, and 390 restoration works. The periodic, emergency and preventive maintenance work carried out by the technical teams targeted filling potholes and erosion with hot asphalt on the streets of Al-Khamsin, Al-Arbaeen, Hadda, Al-Zubairi, Al-Daeri, Taiz, Bab Al-Yemen and Bab Al-Salam, Al-Muayyad and Al-Kabsi in Al-Jarraf, Al-Jamna and Al-Matar, as well as cleaning and removing waste from the targeted streets. The capital's mayor, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, stated that the projects are a translation of the directives of the leader of the revolution, the implementation of the directives of the Supreme Political Council, and the program of the Government of Change and Construction, to raise the level of performance, provide services, and implement projects that touch the lives of citizens, contribute to meeting their needs, and advance local development. He stressed the continued implementation of service and development projects funded by local authorities within the framework of sustainable development plans and programmes that seek to improve basic services across various directorates. Abbad stressed the need to intensify efforts and continue emergency repairs to main and side streets, as well as to address potholes and limit their expansion, thus facilitating traffic flow, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. He urged the Public Works Sector, the Executive Unit, and field teams to expedite the implementation and completion of road restoration and rehabilitation works and projects in accordance with technical specifications, ensuring the quality and long-term sustainability of the roads. The Capital Mayor highlighted the importance of implementing projects to rehabilitate and improve streets, as part of the emergency efforts and interventions undertaken by the Capital Municipality to maintain the road, bridge, and tunnel network and prepare for the rainy season. For his part, the Secretariat's Undersecretary for the Works and Projects Sector, Engineer Abdul Karim Al-Houthi, noted that technical teams affiliated with the Executive Unit for Road Maintenance have carried out extensive asphalt maintenance and repair work since the beginning of Ramadan as part of emergency rehabilitation and maintenance projects for streets and tunnels funded by the Capital Secretariat. He stressed the need to continue implementing asphalt projects and repairs on all affected streets in accordance with technical standards, noting the efforts and work being carried out by the Executive Unit's field teams in various directorates. He stated that periodic and emergency maintenance work includes removing damaged layers, treating cracks, resurfacing dilapidated streets and sections, filling potholes, and adding new asphalt layers to ensure the sustainability of the streets. The Houthi deputy stressed the importance of maintaining and renovating streets, tunnels, and bridges to preserve the asphalt and facilitate traffic flow, as part of efforts to improve the capital's infrastructure. For his part, the Deputy Director of the Executive Unit, Engineer Ali Muhraqa, explained that technical teams have begun field work since the beginning of Ramadan to restore and maintain streets and rehabilitate dilapidated sections with new asphalt layers in various directorates. He pointed to the intensification of efforts and the rapid pace of work to implement and complete all service projects and works in accordance with technical specifications, appreciating the support and interest of the Capital, Sana'a leadership and the follow-up and supervision of the Projects and Works Sector over the projects implemented by the Executive Unit. Engineer Muhraqa confirmed that field teams are continuing to repair, maintain, and asphalte damaged sections and excavate roads in the districts of Al-Thawra, Ma'in, Al-Sab'een, Al-Wahda, and others, in accordance with the work plan and emergency intervention program.

Al-Masawi launches comprehensive cleaning campaign in preparation for holy month of Ramadan
Ibb - Saba: The acting governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, launched on Saturday a comprehensive cleaning campaign in the center of the province and districts in preparation for the month of Ramadan, implemented by the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in cooperation with the Works Sector and the Executive Unit. Al-Masawi emphasized that the launch of the campaign is a translation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in the framework of preparations for the holy month, and a translation of the revolution leader's directives , Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to improve cleanliness and protect the environment. The acting governor also confirmed that the current week will be a week of cleaning for neighborhoods, markets, streets, mosques, offices and others. At the launch, which was attended by the deputy governor of the province, Abdulwase Al-Shamsi, the director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, Talal Al-Sufi, emphasized that the launch of a wide and comprehensive cleaning campaign comes in preparation for the holy month and a practical translation of the directives of the state and the government in this regard. The director of the cleanliness project, Mohammed Ali, confirmed that the cleaners are motivated to carry out their duty in the cleanliness campaign, especially with the interaction of the community and the participation of the directors of the directorates and the heads of the neighborhoods. For his part, Mohammed Al-Hashma, director of the Salah district, explained that the launch of the comprehensive cleaning campaign starting from the directorate comes as a launch of the cleaning work to the districts and directorates of the province. Executive unit employees in Sana'a participate in "al-Aqsa Flood" maneuver
Sana'a - Saba: Employees of the Executive Unit for the construction, maintenance, and development of roads and public places in the Capital Sana'a participated on Thursday in a maneuver within the first phase of the open military courses "al-Aqsa Flood." The maneuver, organized by the General Mobilization in the the capital Sana'a, provided practical training to 50 employees in the use of light and medium weapons, sniping, and attacking virtual enemy sites. The training aims to enhance the readiness of the employees to confront any potential threats and to contribute to the defense of the nation. Participants renewed their absolute mandate to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulةalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and reaffirmed their commitment to "al-Aqsa Flood" campaign and the ongoing struggle against aggression.
