Students Present Bold Ideas on Culture of Inquiry and Innovation
Students from Bahrain and the UAE came together virtually yesterday for the launch of the ISCAS 2025 Student Conference, hosted by the Applied Science University (ASU) in Bahrain in partnership with Ajman University.
The two-day event, conducted via Microsoft Teams, saw broad participation from students under the guidance of faculty members, highlighting both institutions' commitment to nurturing a culture of inquiry and innovation.
The annual academic gathering provides students with a platform to present original research, propose solutions to real-world problems, and strengthen their analytical and communication skills.
Day one of the conference featured diverse student-led presentations, ranging from AI-driven health crisis detection to sustainable infrastructure design. Topics also included digital consumer rights and behavioural trends in investment influenced by social media.
Two standout initiatives, 'Bazaarna' and 'ExploreLand,' demonstrated how academic concepts can be translated into practical solutions, connecting education to real-world entrepreneurship and exploration.
The event continues today with additional sessions focused on law, engineering, and emerging technologies.
Scheduled presentations will delve into cybersecurity concerns, smart urban planning models, and AI's expanding role in medical diagnostics.
ISCAS 2025 exemplifies the shared academic vision between ASU and Ajman University, reinforcing their efforts to equip students with the tools needed for leadership in research, innovation, and societal development.
