‘Trump Chickened Out Because…': Yemeni Rebels Revealed Why US ‘Retreated' From The Red Sea
A major Israeli newspaper has claimed that US President Donald Trump ordered a sudden halt to attacks on Yemen after the USS Harry S. Truman was nearly hit by a Yemeni hypersonic missile. According to Calcalist, the incident in May triggered panic within the White House, leading to a quiet retreat to avoid a public military embarrassment. An F-18 crashed into the Red Sea during the carrier's evasive manoeuvres, and US naval officials warned Trump that any damage to a carrier would be a global disaster for American prestige. The report described Yemen's missile and drone tactics as an unprecedented threat, calling the confrontation the US Navy's biggest challenge since World War II. The paper framed Yemen's action as a double victory — breaking US dominance and enforcing a blockade on Israel, despite heavy airstrikes by the US, UK, and Israel.#YemenStrike #USNavy #USSHarryTruman #TrumpRetreat #HypersonicMissile #MiddleEastConflict #RedSeaCrisis #CalcalistReport #USWithdrawal #BreakingNews

Boeing Defense Workers Launch Strike Over Contract Dispute
Thousands of members of a union representing Boeing defense industry workers in the US states of Missouri and Illinois went on strike Monday after rejecting a contract proposal. In a post on X, the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers said: "3,200 highly-skilled IAM Union members at Boeing went on strike at midnight because enough is enough. "This is about respect and dignity, not empty promises." It came hours after the union said in a statement that members at Boeing facilities in Missouri and Illinois had voted to reject a modified four-year labor agreement with Boeing. The St. Louis local's stoppage follows a bruising Boeing strike last fall in the Pacific Northwest region of some 33,000 workers that halted production at factories that assemble Boeing commercial planes. Local broadcast media showed footage of workers picketing outside the St. Louis factory. Members of the union's local chapter "have spoken loud and clear, they deserve a contract that reflects their skill, dedication, and the critical role they play in our nation's defense," said IAM District 837 representative Tom Boelling. The American aerospace giant's initial proposal, which included a 20 percent wage increase over four years and more vacation time, was rejected a week earlier. The new offer doubled the wage increase, according to Boeing. "We're disappointed our employees rejected an offer that featured 40 percent average wage growth and resolved their primary issue on alternative work schedules," Dan Gillian, Boeing Air Dominance vice president and senior St. Louis, Missouri site executive, said in a statement. "We are prepared for a strike and have fully implemented our contingency plan to ensure our non-striking workforce can continue supporting our customers." The storied company has been in crisis since last year due to production quality issues and a seven-week strike that crippled two of Boeing's major assembly plants. IAM is one of North America's largest unions, representing some 600,000 members in aerospace, defense, shipbuilding, transportation, health care, manufacturing and other industries. Products produced at Boeing's St. Louis operation include the F-15 and F-18 combat aircraft, the T-7 Red Hawk Advanced Pilot Training System and the MQ-25 unmanned aircraft. The site was originally part of the McDonnell Douglas company, which Boeing acquired in 1997. Boeing Chief Executive Kelly Ortberg described the business hit from the strike in Missouri as manageable, noting that the operation has a far smaller number of workers compared with those who went on the picket lines last fall. "I wouldn't worry too much about the implications of the strike," Ortberg said on an earnings conference call. "We'll manage our way through that." Shares of Boeing rose 0.2 percent on Monday.

Pilot and son, 13, killed in Majorca plane crash while 'performing stunts'
Stunned tourists watched the small aircraft, which appeared to be performing stunts, suddenly plummet into the sea - before rescue teams raced to the scene to recover the bodies An ex-military fighter pilot and his 13-year-old son have tragically died in a plane crash while performing stunts for tourists in Majorca. Holidaymakers were left stunned as they watched the small aircraft suddenly plummet into the sea before rescue teams raced to the scene to recover the bodies. The jet was first seen flying low at around 8.20pm on Saturday night at the resort village of Soller in the north-west of Majorca with no signs of struggle. When it crashed near Soller's port - surrounded by cliffs, houses and hotels - witnesses gasped in horror. Members of the Fire Station of the Port of Sóller, Maritime Rescue and the GEAS of the Civil Guard were immediately activated to carry out search and rescue work. A spokesman for the Civil Guard in Majorca said at 2pm local time: 'Around 1pm Civil Guard diving specialists from the elite GEAS unit mobilised as part of the emergency response involving our force, coastguards, the Navy and Air Force, recovered the bodies of the pilot and his son who was with him in the plane. The bodies have been taken to Soller Port.' It comes after a warning to Brit tourists planning all-inclusive holidays to Spain. The 60-year-old and his son, believed to be 13, have not yet been officially named. The dead man has been described locally as an ex combat pilot with 'extensive experience' in flying F-18 and F-14 fighter jets operating from US Navy aircraft carriers. The Majorca Fire Department had previously said that everything indicated one or two people may have been on board. The Guardia Civil have meanwhile spoken to a number of witnesses. One of them, a local resident who was at sea with his family, said he had spotted the plane flying very low. It then passed roughly 15 to 20 metres above the group before crashing into the water and then sinking. The plane is said to have been found at a depth of around 30 metres.

F-35 goes down in fiery crash in California; pilot safely ejects
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An F-35C 'Rough Raiders' jet crashed into a field in Fresno County, California, on Wednesday. Naval Air Station Lemoore said the pilot is safe after successfully ejecting before the crash. Toni Botti, a public information officer for the Fresno County Sheriff's Office, said the pilot was located and transported to a hospital where he was 'doing OK' as of Wednesday night. 'The little that we know about the pilot is that he is a veteran pilot with lots of experience,' Botti told reporters. Turbulence on Delta flight sends 25 passengers to hospitals Deputies responded to the downed aircraft, which crashed near Cadillac and Dickenson avenues, at around 6:40 p.m. Naval Air Station Lemoore confirmed the F-35C attached to the VFA-125 Rough Raiders jet went down not far from base. NAS Lemoore reports no additional personnel were affected. The crash ignited a fire, however, which grew to encompass five acres. It had been 100% contained as of 9 p.m., according to Cal Fire, and was extinguished just before 11 p.m. Fresno County Supervisor Buddy Mendes, who oversees the district, told Nexstar' KSEE that aircraft actually crashed in his cottonfield. It's also not the first time an aircraft has crashed into his land: There was a deadly F-18 crash in the same area almost two decades ago. A federal investigation is underway. No further information on the incident has been officially released.
