I am the rightful owner, and I have signed the team over to MaMkhize, and she will now agree with the patrons and elders of the club on how long she will run it.' The club will now begin the Eswatini Premiership under their new name – Mbabane Highlanders FC – after being rebranded in line with MaMkhize's old club, Royal AM. The 'AM' is in honour of her son Andile Mpisane, who served as chairman and player of the KZN club. MaMkhize's foray into Eswatini football comes after Royal AM were kicked out of the PSL due to a number of financial problems. The club was put up for sale by SARS in order to recoup some of the R40 million she owed in taxes. The move also marks a fresh chapter for Mbabane Highlanders, who have endured years of off-field instability. With Mkhize now officially at the helm, supporters will be hoping for long-term investment, better player recruitment, and a push for domestic dominance. The club is one of Eswatini's most storied sides, but recent seasons have been overshadowed by boardroom wrangles and inconsistent performances. With her resources and experience in South African football, Mkhize could be the catalyst the club needs to restore its former glory. IOL Sport

Kaizer Chiefs: Chislett ready to play the 'Steven Gerrard role'
Kaizer Chiefs new midfielder Ethan Chislett, is eager to play in front of the Amakhosi supporters later this month. The 26-year-old is currently with the team in the Netherlands for their pre-season camp. Having joined the club in June, the Durban-born midfielder will for the first time in his career, play football in his birth country. 'I appreciate creativity, but the bottom line is you have to score goals to win games,' Chislett said as per FARPost . 'I'd like to think I can rise to the occasion when called upon to make a decisive contribution for my team, and that's what motivates me.' Chislett will be in action in Amakhosi for the first time at home later this month against Asante Kotoko SC in the Toyota Cup. The 26-year-old will play in front of his hometown at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 26 July. 'It will probably be surreal. It's something I'll look back on. Sometimes when you're in the moment, you don't take everything in, but afterwards it will fully sink in,' said the Kaizer Chiefs new man. 'I came to South Africa for the 2010 World Cup and watched a match in that stadium, so it's going to be unreal for me, and my family, to play there.' He is a creative player with an eye for goal and can also help defensively, according to his former teammates in England. Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 0211. 'Give him my No. 31 jersey': Chiefs legend back new midfielder
Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande wants new signing Siphesihle Ndlovu to inherit jersey number 31. Katsande, affectionately known as 'Salt and Pepper' by fans, wore the number 31 jersey for over a decade for Amakhosi. Speaking to FARPost , the retired midfielder admitted that he has always been a fan of the former SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates midfielder. The former Chiefs midfielder has praised Ndlovu's energy and his tackling ability. 'He's my boy. Because you can see the way he poses. Trust me, I've been a fan of his for some time. I could see the way he plays. He's a very energetic boy. If we have to play, we can play; if we have to be stuck in tackles, we can stick in tackles. So I've seen him in a couple of games,' he told FARPost . 'Even sometimes, when I saw him in one of the matches, when he played at FNB Stadium, I told him, 'boy, you deserve to be here. Not the other way around'. So I'm happy that the club brought him on board because he's going to bring a lot of quality and value to the team. 'Even experience-wise, you know, he's somebody who has won the trophies and somebody who knows how to play for a big team. So he's going to be good, and he's going to rub it into the young ones because he does have a never-die spirit. And you could see the way he plays.' The Amakhosi legend said his wish was for Ndlovu to wear the number 31 jersey at Chiefs. 'He's just an unbelievable boy. I can't wait for him to play. I wish he can get number 31. For him to remember me. But I'm happy for him. He's a very good boy,' said the former Chiefs midfielder. Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 0211.
