FEI: Decision to establish two textile cities in Upper Egypt to support exports
Board Member of the Textile Industries Chamber at the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) Mohamed Fathi Abul Fotouh asserted that the recent decision to establish two integrated textile cities in Upper Egypt is designed to attract industries moving away from some countries, especially from China, with an aim to boost exports. In an interview with Egypt's Channel One, Abul Fotouh emphasized Egypt's logistical advantages, including its modern port infrastructure and transport networks, which position the country as a favorable destination for global textile investment. 'Egypt has signed numerous agreements with African and Arab nations and several EU countries, thus supporting a momentum in the industry of textiles and ready-made clothes,' he said. 'Recent customs reforms have made Egypt more attractive to Chinese investors, many of whom are now increasing their textile investments in the country,' he said. The textile cities will be located in Wadi al-Saririya in Minya and North Fayoum Industrial Zone. This fell within the framework of the state's plan to develop Upper Egypt and secure decent jobs for people there in addition to upgrading the industry of ready-made clothes and textiles.

(Video) Lady Gaga & Fiancé Michael Polansky Spotted At Maxwell Food Centre In Singapore
Many international stars have been spotted at popular tourist attractions during their visits. Previously, in our neighbouring country, Singapore, billionaire Bill Gates was seen enjoying a meal at the iconic Newton Food Centre, one of the country's most well-known hawker centres. It's perhaps no surprise that superstar Lady Gaga has been spotted at a hawker centre while continuing her stay in Singapore following her electrifying performance. Here's what the singer has been up to: In case you haven't heard, Lady Gaga is currently in Singapore for her MAYHEM World Tour, performing a four-day concert at the National Stadium. During the first two days of her performance, Little Monsters from both Singapore and Malaysia turned up dressed in some of her most iconic outfits. The Oscar winner's next show is later tonight (Wednesday, 21st May), which means that she's had a few days to explore the country before going back up on stage. While her other recent activities remain unclear, yesterday (Tuesday, 20th May), the singer, her fiancé Michael Polansky, and her team were spotted at Maxwell Food Centre. According to several fan accounts, the Grammy-winning artist, dressed in all-black, was seen having lunch and engaging with fans. There's currently no information on the food she ordered, but from the screenshots, bottles of Tsingtao beer were seen on the table. After enjoying their meal, Mother Monster, her fiancé, and her team were seen leaving the hawker centre, greeted by cheering fans of the 'Abracadabra' songstress. Known for how much she adores her fans, Lady Gaga paused to sign a few autographs for her Little Monsters as she made her way back to the car. Lady Gaga was not the first international artist to dine at Maxwell Food Centre. Dua Lipa was also spotted there with her team when she performed in Singapore last year.
