'Leave It to Beaver' Star Makes 'Awesome' Announcement originally appeared on Parade.
Actor Jerry Mathers is the only surviving main cast member from CBS/ABC sitcom Leave It to Beaver, but he is still out there at 77 years young, promoting the show that made him famous and is still beloved by fans nationwide.
This week, Mathers was "happy to announce" that his iconic show is running a Back to School marathon on FETV (Family Entertainment Television) this weekend.
"I am happy to announce that FETV (Family Entertainment Television) will be having another LITB Back to School marathon this year, coming up on Sunday, August 3rd, from 9 am to 3 pm ET. Mark your calendars and check your local stations and streaming channels! Enjoy!" wrote Mathers on Facebook.
The episodes that are airing as part of the marathon include "Pet Fair," "Wally's Test," "Beaver Becomes a Hero," "Beaver's IQ," "The Dramatic Club," "The School Picture," "Junior Fire Chief," "Beaver's English Test," "One of the Boys" and "Sweatshirt Monsters."
His fans are over the moon about the news.

"I will set the marathon to record! My grandkids — ages 11, 16, and 18 — always ask to watch Leave It to Beaver when they visit. The 4-year-old and the 8-month-old haven't quite committed yet… they're still on the fence," wrote one fan.
Another added, "That's awesome, Jerry!!! But for those who don't know, it is playing on Roku 24 hour a day!! 😃."
"Cool, Jerry! I was watching one The Wonder Years episodes and Kevin's girlfriend referred to him as Beaver 😂 to describe someone as I also have used Eddy Haskell to describe someone 😊," wrote a third fan.
A fourth fan wrote, "Love watching Leave It to Beaver! It's my stress free one hour in the am while getting ready for work. Every show has a life lesson - in my mind, I try to implement those simple lessons into life for our kids today. 🥰."
Leave It to Beaver aired in the 1950s and 1960s on CBS and ABC. It starred Barbara Billingsley, Hugh Beaumont, Tony Dow and Mathers. The three former stars have sadly all passed away, but several of the child actors from the show are still alive. In fact, in June, Mathers reunited with Stephen Talbot (Gilbert), Jeri Weil (Judy), Luke Tiger Fafara (Tooey) and Veronica Cartwright (Violet Rutherford) for The Hollywood Show, which is a huge autograph show held in Los Angeles three times a year.
