D. B. Corp secures 14 new private FM Radio Stations in Phase III auction
D. B. Corp, one of India's leading media companies, has achieved a significant milestone in the radio broadcasting space. The company announced that it has been awarded 14 new radio stations in the third batch of Private FM Radio Phase III auctions conducted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (FM Cell). This notification was issued under No. N 38014/4/2025-FM dated August 13, 2025.
These newly allocated stations are in greenfield cities, marking a first for FM radio in these regions. For residents of these cities, this means they will now have access to FM radio services for the very first time, expanding D. B. Corp's reach and presence in untapped markets.
The license for these stations will remain valid for 15 years from the date each radio station becomes operational, providing a long-term opportunity for the company to strengthen its footprint in India's growing radio broadcasting sector.
This expansion aligns with D. B. Corp's ongoing strategy to diversify its media portfolio and reach new audiences, reinforcing its position as a major player in the Indian radio industry.
