Kay Adams lined up for stunning move to replace Joy Taylor at Fox Sports after controversial host's exit
Kay Adams is a leading contender to join Fox Sports in the wake of Joy Taylor's shock departure from the network, according to reports. Earlier this week it was revealed that Taylor, who had co-hosted FS1 sports talk show 'Speak' since September 2022, is out at Fox Sports after nearly a decade as part of a major shake-up that will see three programs cancelled. As well as Speak, FS1 is also said to be bringing morning shows 'Breakfast Ball' and 'The Facility' to an abrupt end. Taylor, 38, had worked on a number of different shows in her nine-year stint with Fox, yet the company has decided not to renew her expiring contract this summer - just months after she was accused of sleeping with colleagues to further her career and ignoring a co-worker's sexual harassment complaints in a bombshell lawsuit. Now FS1 will be on the hunt for new on-air talent, and Front Office Sports claims Adams, 39, is being lined up for new shows on the network's cable arm. The popular sportscaster and TV personality, who currently presents her own daily sports show 'Up & Adams' on FanDuel TV, is reportedly in the running to join Fox on the back of Taylor's exit. She has a wealth of experience after previously hosting NFL Network's Good Morning Football and special events for the Chicago Bears, while she has also worked on DAZN's broadcasting team for boxing events in the past. As well as Adams, male sports personalities Tony Reali and Max Kellerman are also believed to be on Fox's radar, with the network also in need of replacements for the likes of Emmanuel Acho, Keyshawn Johnson and LeSean McCoy - who are also out along with Taylor. Reali, the longtime host of canceled ESPN program 'Around the Horn', is quoted as saying by FOS that he's interested in 'absolutely everything.' Despite planning to be 'discerning' about his future, the 47-year-old reportedly has ambitions to work 'in both the TV and digital spaces at the same time.' 'I'm open to talking to anybody and everybody at all times,' Reali said, according to the report. Kellerman, meanwhile, has had a long and successful career in broadcasting most notably as a co-host on ESPN's First Take and as a boxing analyst and commentator for HBO. Taylor is taking her mind off of her Fox departure by soaking up the sun on a family vacation in The Bahamas this week. The former presenter took several racy snaps from the trup to the Exuma Islands, posing on a swing wearing just a blue bikini in one of the photos and enjoying a boat day with her sister-in-law, Monica, in another. Former ESPN stars Tony Reali (left) and Max Kellerman (right) are also said to be on Fox's radar Monica is married to Taylor's brother, Jason, the former NFL player. A bikini-clad Taylor left little to the imagination in a third snap as she stood in the crystal clear ocean. Later that day she shared a video on Instagram of herself in a tight-fitting blue workout set performing a series of exercises. Taylor could be seen jumping rope and carrying out arm workouts with a resistance band on an outdoor deck overlooking clear blue sea.

Joy Taylor out at Fox Sports amid lineup shakeup, per report
Joy Taylor is out at Fox Sports, and so is her show, "Speak" – along with two other programs in the FS1 weekday lineup. "Breakfast Ball" and "The Facility" are also on the chopping block, according to The Athletic, with Taylor's dramatic few months at the network culminating in her exit. Advertisement The 38-year-old was named in one of two lawsuits against former Fox Sports programming executive Charlie Dixon, who was fired from the network in April. In the suit that named Taylor, Noushin Faraji, a make-up artist, accused Dixon of sexual battery and alleged that Taylor told Faraji 'to get over it.' Taylor denied the allegation but she did spend two weeks off the air in late February and early March. Her contract with FOX was set to expire sometime this summer, Front Office Sports reported in May. She co-hosted "Speak" with Paul Pierce and Keyshawn Johnson. "Breakfast Ball" featured Craig Carton, Mark Schlereth and Danny Parkins, while "The Facility" had four former NFL players – Emmanuel Acho, Chase Daniel, James Jones and LeSean McCoy – as part of the cast. All three shows were created under Dixon, and The Athletic reported low ratings as the reason for the cancellations. Fox Sports Cuts Show Host Months After Explosive Sex Claims
Fox Sports laid off anchor Joy Taylor on Monday months after she was named in a sexual-battery lawsuit. Taylor had co-hosted the show Speak on its cable network, FS1, alongside former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson and former NBA player Paul Pierce since 2022. In addition to cancelling Speak, the company is also canceling its morning shows Breakfast Ball and The Facility, according to The Athletic. Advertisement All three shows had flailing ratings, according to Front Office Sports. Fox Sports did not return an immediate request for comment. The news came six months after a former Fox Sports hairstylist, Noushin Faraji, accused Taylor of dismissing Faraji's claim that then-Fox Sports programming executive Charlie Dixon groped her during Taylor's birthday party in 2017. Taylor had co-hosted Faraji also claimed that Taylor, who is married, had an affair with Dixon, which is how Taylor got her role as moderator on Skip and Shannon: Undisputed. Faraji further accused Taylor of mocking her accent and her PTSD-induced humming. Taylor denied the accusations to The Athletic earlier this year. 'The claims set forth against Ms. Taylor are devoid of merit and appear to have been strategically framed to create unwarranted publicity rather than to seek legitimate redress,' a spokeswoman told The Athletic in February. Advertisement Taylor was tight-lipped on the suits in an interview with New York magazine's The Cut earlier this year. 'I know that the public has a lot of interest in this situation,' she said, 'but I have to let the legal process play out.' She expanded on the situation to Charlamagne tha God's radio show The Breakfast Club last month, albeit briefly. She also said she was renegotiating her contract. 'I think it's a grief process when anything like that happens. I'll say, I've been through a lot of traumatic things in my life. A lot. And I think any time you go through a trauma or a grieving period of something, you can't decide who you are when it's happening. And that's been the biggest thing for me.' Advertisement Dixon was placed on leave in February after the suits, and the network fired him in April. The lawsuit also accused Fox Sports star Skip Bayless of offering Faraji $1.5 million for sex. Bayless, who left the network last year, has denied the claim. Taylor's contract was set to expire this summer, according to a Front Office Sports report in May. After the lawsuits went public, Taylor was pulled off the air for two weeks before she returned.

Days After Calling Out LeBron James For Kevin Durant Take, Paul Pierce's NBA Show Cancelled In Major Changes At FS1
Days After Calling Out LeBron James For Kevin Durant Take, Paul Pierce's NBA Show Cancelled In Major Changes At FS1 originally appeared on Fadeaway World. Paul Pierce's NBA show 'Speak' on Fox Sports 1 has been cancelled with two other shows, in a major shake-up at the sports broadcasting giant, FS1, amid falling TV ratings. This news comes just days after Pierce called out LeBron James for not naming him with Kevin Durant as the best-equipped scorer in NBA history. Advertisement As a result of the major changes, Fox Sports 1 has also let Joy Taylor, the renowned TV host, go altogether. According to Andrew Merchand of The Athletic, Joy Taylor's contract was up with FS1, and they decided not to renew her contract amid her ongoing lawsuit controversy, despite nearly a decade with the company. Simultaneously, FS1 also cancelled two other shows, 'The Facility' with Emmanuel Acho, Chase Daniel, James Jones, and LeSean McCoy, and 'The Breakfast Ball' hosted by Craig Carton, Mark Schlereth, and Danny Parkins. What Paul Pierce Said About LeBron James And Kevin Durant Just days before Fox Sports 1 decided to cancel 'Speak', which was co-hosted by Paul Pierce, Keyshawn Johnson, and Joy Taylor, Pierce made some eye-opening comments on the show that went viral on social media. Advertisement Kevin Durant's podcast episode with LeBron James had just been released, where James hailed Durant for being arguably the most equipped scorer in NBA history. Pierce seemingly was offended by that and felt he also belonged in the same discussion. He went on 'Speak' and expressed his opinions on what James said, following which he faced backlash from fans for seeming overconfident about his abilities. "I was probably the best pure scorer in the history of the game, because I was pretty equipped. I'm just saying, I need to be in this conversation... I must've been one of the most equipped." "I think when he talks about him, he talks about efficiency. Cause I shot more bad shots than Kevin... but Kevin, because he's seven feet, he can get his shot off on anybody. He doesn't really see defense, you know what I'm saying? That's why he's so efficient; there's nobody at his height on the perimeter. He changed the way you look at perimeter; he pretty much changed the game on the perimeter. Like being a seven-foot two-guard?" Advertisement "Like, come on, the biggest two-guard when I came in was 6'5 or 6'6... he's a center playing at the point guard, two-guard. All his match-ups and the way he shoots the ball and gets to the hole, he is efficient with it. So I can see why LeBron would say that, but you got to put me in that talk when you talk about the most-equipped scorers, man." While the clips from the show itself went viral and thousands of people saw it, the TV ratings remained stagnant and seemingly on the decline. The cancellation comes as part of broader programming changes at the network, though the timing raises questions about the role of recent controversies. On one hand, Taylor had worked with the network for nearly a decade, but on the other, this is not the first time a TV network has cut ties with Pierce. In 2021, as well, following an Instagram Live video controversy, ESPN cut ties with Paul Pierce before he joined FS1 in 2024. Things seem to be on pause for Pierce's career as a TV Host, but the bigger question here is whether the recent controversies pushed FS1 to make the call on this. I guess we'll never know, or only time will tell if reliable sources surface on this. For now, they claim it is only the falling TV ratings that prompted this decision.
