The idol group revealed that they will be holding a concert in Bluesquare SOLTravel Hall on August 23 and 24, according to reports from Allkpop, exciting fans. The idol's management agency revealed the news along with a comment that threw fans back.
The official statement regarding the concert read, 'Hello, this is FNC Entertainment.
We will be holding the '2025 FTISLAND LIVE 'MAD HAPPY' concert. For those who want to purchase a ticket, please read the following notifications below. (Members Lee Hongki, Lee Jaejin, and Choi Minhwan will attend this show, so please be advised.)'
Fans react to Minhwan being included in the concert
Fans of the group took to online social media platforms and fan forums to share their disdain about the matter. One fan commented on a fan forum platform that 'For fans, they are just like do whatever you want, but I don't want him to appear on broadcasts or festivals,' while another person's comment read that 'This isn't even a notice about his rejoining the group.
He's just included in the lineup as if he never left.'
Previously, after the idol's prostitution scandal, their agency had announced that the idol would be taking a hiatus from his schedule. No other statement about his whereabouts had been shared since then until now.
What happened with Minhwan

She revealed that Minhwan had been regularly involved in adult entertainment establishments, which included places like brothels and karaoke rooms.
