Gabun Gulin 'One Mob' Launching into Spring for Darebin FUSE Festival
NITV Radio speaks with Ethan Savage a Northern Kaantju, Girramay and Badu Islander academic, broadcaster and emerging curator with Darbin Arts Centre with the Curator-in-Residence program. Darebin FUSE Spring returns with the opening day of Gabun Gulin, meaning 'One Mob' in Woi-Wurrung language, co-curated by Ethan Savage. Ethan shares with us the many First Nations artists, performers and community leaders part of the opening day and the FUSE festival including being MC'd by FABoriginal drag artist 2joocee, and live performances by Wurundjeri dancers, singer-songwriter and Darebin local Emma Donovan, indie rock band Doe Eyes, and hip-hop artist Torres Green. T. Ethan also shares with NITV Radio his experience undertaking the Darbin Arts Centre Curator-in-Residence program.
Darebin FUSE Festival runs 31 August – 14 September 2025.
