However, Inter do retain a buyback clause as part of the deal. Therefore, this summer they will have the ability to sign the 22-year-old midfielder back. Last season, Giovanni Fabbian had a successful first season of top flight football with Bologna. The former Inter midfielder got regular starts for the Emilian side under Thiago Motta. However, in the summer Motta left to join Juventus. Therefore, Vincenzo Italiano took over as his replacement. Since the arrival of Italiano, Fabbian is not as much in favour in the Bologna starting eleven. Therefore, it looks possible that the 22-year-old could leave the Rossoblu on loan before the end of January transfer window.
