Big Rock blog: Only one blue marlin submitted as day four begins
MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (WNCT) — Thursday is day four in the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament.
Wednesday was the first day a contestant brought a blue marlin to be weighed. 'Bankwalkers' boated the first blue marlin of the tournament at about 5:30pm and arrived to the weigh station a couple hours later. Their catch did not net them the 'Fabulous Fisherman' prize as it only weighed 449.7lbs, just short of the required 500lbs. Though they are now in the lead for first place.
