BIC kicked off its concert series this F1 weekend yesterday as thousands of fans enjoyed the live performance of multi-platinum DJ and producer Fadil El Ghoul, better known as R3HAB. R3HAB took to the main stage of BIC's vending area for a stunning show, much to the delight of the massive crowd that was on hand. His live performance was just the first in this year's grand prix, featuring international dance music superstars. All-new Bahraini Village experience to showcase Kingdom's rich culture and heritage at F1 2025 weekend at BIC
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East', announced yesterday that fans attending the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025 will get to enjoy an all-new attraction that showcases the Kingdom's rich culture and heritage. Known as the Bahraini Village, this first-of-its-kind experience at F1 weekend will have plenty to see and do for race-goers, who will be able to appreciate all kinds of local traditions, ranging from handicrafts to food and drink. The Bahraini Village will be open all throughout the grand prix from 11 to 13 April in Sakhir. The attraction will be located near Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC). The entrance will be from the gate by The Dome tent that leads to the BIKC car park. There will be a large arch at the entrance, which cannot be missed. The Bahraini Village experience will be welcoming fans from 9am to 10pm on each day of the race weekend. All those visiting the site will be able to enjoy various traditional activities such as dhow making, henna artistry, mat making, basket weaving, oyster net making, pottery making, and so much more. Food vendors at the attraction will also be offering the very best of Bahraini cuisine. Popular restaurant Villa Mamas will be on hand. There will be a sharbat stand and traditional outdoor cooking stalls, while local favourites from Showaiter will also be available. Also as part of the off-track attractions for the whole family is a series of live concerts on all three nights of F1 weekend. On the Friday night on 11 April, multi-platinum DJ and producer Fadil El Ghoul, better known as R3HAB, will be hitting the stage at BIC. International dance music superstar Peggy Gou will then be putting on a show on the Saturday night on 12 April. Then, on Sunday night on 13 April, Grammy-nominated artist, DJ, and producer Axwell will be bringing the curtain down on the grand prix weekend with a spectacular post-race celebration off the track. Circus Cortex to bring high-energy shows to F1 2025
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East', is bringing one of the world's top circus acts to Sakhir for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025. The F1 spectacle is just over a week away, scheduled for 11 to 13 April as the fourth round of the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. To add to the top-class motor racing action, BIC has lined up an incredible off-track entertainment programme, with Circus Cortex being one of the leading attractions. Circus Cortex is an electrifying circus group that dazzles audiences with jaw-dropping performances. This year's event celebrates the 75th anniversary of both Formula 1 and Bahrain's national carrier and grand prix title sponsor Gulf Air. All grandstand tickets to the highly anticipated grand prix weekend have already completely sold out, including seats at the Main, Turn 1, Beyon, University, and Victory grandstands. Fans who have missed out on these seats can still get tickets to BIC's last remaining hospitality option, The Dome by F1 Experiences, but there is only very limited availability. The Dome by F1 Experiences features a dedicated grandstand located along the Main Straight with comfortable, seat-back style seating. Fans can enjoy exceptional views of the Podium and pit entry, and also see the cars as they navigate the final turn before accelerating down the track. The package also includes complimentary lunch dishes, lite bites, refreshments and live performances by DJs, roaming entertainers and more between track sessions. Furthermore, fans can now enjoy all that is on offer at the Beyon Money BIC Fan Village, open daily at Block 338 in Adliya until 9 April. The village is free of charge, and it is a celebration of motorsport as it brings the spirit of the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix to the public, in the heart of Bahrain's capital. Bahrain GP: 10-day countdown begins
Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East', begins its final 10-day countdown to the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025. The F1 spectacle is scheduled for 11 to 13 April in Sakhir, and it will be yet another record-breaking event that will thrill fans all over the world. This year's race weekend features the slogan 'The Desert Never Sleeps'. It will mark the fourth round of the 2025 FIA F1 World Championship, and it will be celebrating the 75th anniversary of both F1 and Bahrain's national carrier and grand prix title sponsor Gulf Air. During the grand prix weekend, F1 will be supported by two of its chief feeder series: the FIA Formula 2 Championship and the FIA Formula 3 Championship. Also set to hit the track will be the Bahrain-based Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East (PCCME), which has become a staple at Bahrain's F1 weekend and a favourite amongst fans. F2 and F3 have both just completed in-season testing the past week at BIC and will be back on the tarmac for the second rounds of their respective 2025 seasons. The PCCME, on the other hand, will be staging its fifth and penultimate meeting of the 2024/2025 campaign.
