Bloody Night in Gaza: Dozens Killed, Hundreds Wounded in Strikes on Tents, Schools

DayofPal– Dozens of Palestinians were killed and hundreds injured overnight in a wave of deadly Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, targeting displaced civilians, aid seekers, residential homes, and shelters, according to local health authorities and eyewitnesses. One of the deadliest attacks took place in Mawasi Khan Younis, where at least 13 people were killed, including Sheikh Bilal Abu Assi, his wife, and their children, after an Israeli strike hit a tent sheltering displaced families near the Al-Akkad Mosque. In the Al-Majaida neighborhood, also in western Khan Younis, another strike on tents killed at least 10 civilians, leaving dozens more wounded, some critically. Throughout the city and its outskirts, a series of intense air raids resulted in 25 fatalities in just a few hours. In Gaza City, an Israeli warplane bombed Mustafa Hafiz School in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, which was housing hundreds of displaced people. At least 11 Palestinians were killed in the attack, with many more wounded. Charred bodies were recovered from the rubble, underscoring the ferocity of the strike. Other heavily bombarded areas included the neighborhoods of Shuja'iyya, Zaytoun, and Tuffah, where entire apartment buildings were leveled by Israeli forces. A school sheltering displaced civilians, Fahd Al-Sabah School, in the Tuffah neighborhood was also struck, while a drone dropped a bomb near Yaffa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, further endangering already overwhelmed medical services. In a now-routine horror, six civilians were killed and over 100 others injured while waiting for humanitarian aid east of Al-Nabulsi roundabout in western Gaza City. Another five people were killed in a similar attack targeting aid seekers near the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza. Additional casualties were reported after a tent in Al-Istable Street in western Khan Younis was bombed, leaving both dead and injured in its wake. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), approximately 85% of Gaza's territory is either under evacuation orders or designated as closed military zones, placing unbearable pressure on essential services. The main water distribution center in Khan Younis has become inaccessible, threatening the collapse of the entire city's water infrastructure. Palestinian factions condemned the ongoing massacres, particularly the bombing of the Mustafa Hafiz School and the targeting of starved civilians waiting for food aid. The groups held the United States, and President Joe Biden in particular, fully responsible for the crimes, accusing international institutions of complicity through their silence and inaction. Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with U.S. support, has waged a war of genocide in Gaza, involving mass killings, starvation, forced displacement, and the systematic destruction of infrastructure, in defiance of International Court of Justice rulings and global appeals to halt the assault. OIC: Israel Commits 3,496 Crimes, Killing, Injuring 2,652 Palestinians in 7 Days

Mohamed Mandour The Organization of Islamic Cooperation's Media Observatory for Israeli Crimes Against Palestinians has reported on the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces between October 7, 2023, and June 30, 2025. During this period, there have been 58,035 deaths and 142,235 injuries. The catastrophic humanitarian situation for infants in the Gaza Strip and the attacks on West Bank villages by settlers highlight the disturbing reality of Israeli crimes against Palestinians. Between June 24 and June 30, 2025, a staggering 3,496 crimes were reported. During this period, occupying forces bombed five schools consecutively. The targeted schools included Fahd Al-Sabah School in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, Abdul Fattah Hamoud School on Jaffa Street, Osama Bin Zaid School in Al-Saftawi, Adnan Al-Alami School west of Gaza City, and another school in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. Additionally, a popular market on Jaffa Street, which is frequented by thousands, and a beachfront restaurant in Gaza City were also bombed. Reports indicate that the number of Palestinians killed while seeking food has reached 580, bringing the total number of Palestinian fatalities caused by Israeli military forces in that single week to 536. The number of wounded individuals has reached 2,116. In terms of the humanitarian situation, 66 infants have died from malnutrition in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, and approximately 70,000 infants are suffering from health issues related to chronic malnutrition. Additionally, essential neonatal vaccines have been unavailable in Gaza for the past four months. Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), described the situation in the Gaza Strip as "absolutely dire." He noted that international attention to Gaza has significantly declined since June 13, 2025, which coincided with the destruction of 74% of the region's water wells and the ongoing struggles of residents who are facing contaminated drinking water. In the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds, Israeli forces conducted 279 incursions, resulting in the death of one child and the arrest of nine others, among a total of 216 Palestinian detainees. A school in the village of Jalud was raided, and surveillance camera footage was confiscated. Although the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque were reopened, the occupation forces prevented Waqf employees from entering the Noble Sanctuary, which continues to face frequent settler incursions. Additionally, the occupation forces issued an order to confiscate more than two dunams of land in the town of Ya'bad in Jenin, as well as five vehicles and cash. They demolished four homes in Al-Quds and Jenin and occupied three homes in Nablus and Jenin. They also demolished several shops, a car wash, and an agricultural nursery in the town of Kifl Haris in Salfit. Further demolitions included two pens in Dura Al-Qar'a and the village of Wadi Rahhal in Bethlehem, as well as water wells and agricultural land. Settlement activities in West Bank towns and villages reached 15, with a focus on decisions by the occupation authorities to confiscate Palestinian lands in the Masafer area of Yatta. Additional sites included land between the settlements of Ibei Hanahal and Ma'ale Amos in the Bethlehem area, the road adjacent to Wadi Azriq in Hizma, and the Jabal al-Masalma area in the village of Raba in Jenin, all for the benefit of settlement projects. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence"
