Woman, 17, killed in Fairhaven 3-car crash. What we know
A Fairhaven teenager has died in a multiple-vehicle crash on Route 6.
According to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office, Fairhaven police and EMS and Massachusetts State Police reported to the scene of a crash at Route 6 and Jeannette Street shortly before 9:30 p.m. on July 5. There, police found a 2009 silver Nissan Sentra in the eastbound side of Route 6 facing west with 'catastrophic front-end damage,' the DA's office stated.
The Sentra's driver, a 17-year-old woman from Fairhaven, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 2021 black Ford F-250 was at the scene with heavy front-end damage, on the westbound side of the road lying on its side.
The Ford's occupants, a man and woman in their 20s, were hospitalized with minor injuries.
A 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 sustained minor front-end damage; its two occupants were not hurt.
The DA's office said the incident is under investigation.
