It was important to stop relying solely on others and instead empower myself with the right tools and insights.' In the same interview, she spoke about facing patriarchy at home and scrutiny as a woman in business. 'I did see patriarchy at home but luckily it was nipped in the bud. The girls were very strong and they asked for their own share, and I am happy to say that our family treats men and women equally and I am very proud of it,' she said. 'They know your weakness and they play to your weaknesses. That's why I never go to a meeting without prepping. I know I need to brush my skills up with those one-two extra things also and that gives me the confidence so no one can break me,' Upasana added.
