Three Whataburger locations could be coming to East Tennessee

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Knoxville area could soon be home to three Whataburger locations, as a project management site includes prospective plans to convert two Steak and Shake locations to Whataburger restaurants. The two locations where Whataburger could go are 500 East Emory Road in Powell and 310 Wild Geese Road in Knoxville, according to LDI Reproprinting Centers' website. The City of Knoxville business license, issued on March 19, placed the new business at 1830 Cumberland Avenue.
