2025 Dynasty Rookie Rankings: Tre Harris

OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI - SEPTEMBER 28: Tre Harris #9 of the Mississippi Rebels carries the ball during ... More the game against the Kentucky Wildcats at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on September 28, 2024 in Oxford, Mississippi. (Photo by) As of late, Tre Harris is a name that's starting to rise up a lot of 2025 dynasty rookie rankings. In a recent mock draft by Fantasy Points, Harris was selected at the 1.05 in a Superflex rookie draft. For reference, FantasyPros average rank for Harris is 14.6. There's certainly a lot to be excited about. From an advanced metric perspective, Harris grades out very well, especially in his yards per route run. Below, we'll be diving into Harris's profile and placing him in my 2025 rookie rankings. From a box score perspective, Harris looks great. Harris broke out at Louisiana Tech, catching 65 passes for 935 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore. With questions surrounding his level of competition, Harris would transfer to Ole Miss for his final two seasons. In his true senior season, Harris would dominate in the SEC, catching 54 passes for 985 yards and seven touchdowns. With one more year of eligibility, Harris would stay for his fifth year, where he unfortunately suffered a groin injury. Harris would only play in eight games on the year but was fantastic in them. In just a small sample size, Harris had 60 catches for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns. From an efficiency perspective, Harris was first in yards per route run with a mark of 3.0. As researched in the past, the metric is seen to be very predictive of future success. NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA - SEPTEMBER 09: Tre Harris #9 of the Mississippi Rebels celebrates a ... More touchdown during the first half against the Tulane Green Wave at Yulman Stadium on September 09, 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana. (Photo by) Right now, I expect Harris to be a mid-second round in the 2025 NFL Draft. At 6' 2'' and 205 lbs, Harris has cemented himself as one of the top outside receivers in this class. Typically, these types of players tend to go higher than slot receivers in the draft. NFL Mock Draft Database agrees with my assessment. The community has Harris with a rank of 57th overall (second round). If Harris does go in the second round, he'll have a great historical hit rate. This study shows that round two receivers have a 20% chance of becoming a WR1 and a 29% chance of becoming a WR2. With all of that in mind, Harris is the WR12 in my 2025 dynasty rookie rankings. As I dive even deeper into Harris's profile, he could jump up a few spots. There are just quite a few receivers that I'm a fan of in this class. This places Harris as the 26th-ranked player in a Superflex format and 25th in a 1QB league.
