Ride On Bus stop in Bethesda to close temporarily for watermain installation
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. () –The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is reminding passengers that a Ride On Bus stop will temporarily close starting on March 9.
Officials said the Ride On Bus stop #25642 at Southbound Rockville Pike (MD 355) between Locust Hill Road and West Cedar Lane in Bethesda will not be available beginning Sunday night.

The closure will go into place as crews install a watermain. The construction will impact bus routes 30 and 46 and several lanes will be closed in the area.
Officials noted the lane closures will take place from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. every Sunday through Thursday until March 21.
MCDOT encourages passengers to use stop #25644 at Rockville Pike and North Drive as an alternative.
