Students take seaside trip to special needs centre
School students from Heathfield and St Francis schools have enjoyed visits to the Wheel House at Hill Head on the Solent.
Across the spring seven different classes, including Julia, a student at St Francis School took part in the seaside visits.
The lessons, organised by Fareham Rotary Club, included activities such as walks along the promenade, visits to local playgrounds, and lessons in identifying seaside-specific items.
These activities are designed to improve vocabulary and recognition skills in students aged between three and 19 who have varying levels of severe and complex learning difficulties.
