Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow to speak at TAMUT Distinguished Speaker Series

TEXARKANA, Tx. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Farmers Bank Foundation announced Tuesday that former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow will speak at its annual Distinguished Speaker Series in April. 'Farmers Bank & Trust is excited for our fifth Annual Distinguished Speaker Series to bring Tim Tebow to the Texarkana community for an inspirational night that you will never forget,' said James Bramlett, Farmers Bank & Trust Texarkana Market President. The annual series is designed to help raise funds for scholarships for UAHT and Texarkana College graduates who wish to transfer to Texas A&M University-Texarkana to complete their bachelor's degree. According to a press release, Tebow, a five-time New York Times best-selling author, speaker, and football analyst, is most passionate about his work with the Tim Tebow Foundation (TTF), whose mission is to bring faith, hope, and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need. The TTF is currently fighting for people who can't fight for themselves in over 70 countries and counting. This year's edition of the Farmers Bank Foundation Distinguished Speaker Series will be held on Thursday, April 10th at 7:00 p.m. Individual reservations begin at $200 that include dinner and the lecture while the $300 reservation additionally features a private reception.
