After the after parties, come the after, after parties. Following the Tony Awards, many attendees flitted off to cast celebrations and the official MoMA party before landing at the annual event at the Carlyle, hosted by Rick Miramontez and John Gore. Upon entering, guests were met with camera flashes before entering into a dark, sea of people floating from booth-to-bar at the hotel, before hitting the back room where a band played songs like 'Come Fly With Me.' While she remained seated most of the night, it didn't stop people from going up to her and complimenting her performance. The 'Hacks' star graciously chatted with each person, shaking hands and laughing. After several minutes speaking with the star, one guest bragged to a friend: 'We have become very best friends with Jean Smart.…That's all we need in life.' Later on in the evening, she and actress Zoey Deutch, who wore a black, sequin gown, were all smiles, deep in conversation. Equally busy was Mia Farrow who chatted with Andrew Scott and sipped on a glass of white wine. Partygoers weren't shy to go up to the actress and compliment her on her role in the play 'The Roommate.' One fan said: 'You're incredible. We need to see more of you,' to which she very demurely responded 'Thank you. Bless you,' rubbing them on the arm. Farrow was seemingly just as excited about seeing Broadway's finest, as they were about meeting her. Ahead of the event, Farrow was eager to see Jonathan Groff perform and afterward was just as excited to gush about host Cynthia Erivo. Farrow departed at around 1:30 a.m., someone in her party saying it was time to get her home. Ariana DeBose, who hosted the Tony Awards last year, similarly said Erivo's hosting was one of the highlights of her evening…that and 'Jonathan Groff standing on Keanu Reeves' during his performance from 'Just in Time,' she said, laughing. Of course, DeBose, who was in the original cast of 'Hamilton,' also raved about getting to perform for the 10th anniversary during the awards. 'I'm biased,' she said before slinking off to sip her drink in a booth with friends. Meanwhile, Sara Bareilles snaked her way through the party holding up her silver, sequin gown to reveal a pair of white Converse. Busy Philipps arrived with soft pink hair, staying close to a small group of friends throughout the evening. Scott passed off his drink to pose for a slew of photos that lit up the dark bar area with flash. While guests mingled, some were pulled into a private area for interviews. Meanwhile, upstairs, a neon dance floor remained unused at 1:30 a.m., though a DJ did perform. Stations for late night food were also ready to go on the upper level for the inevitable munchies. At 1:45 a.m., a long line was forming of Tony goers still waiting to get into the party, including a large group of cast members from 'Sunset Blvd.' who all raised their hand in unison to let the bouncer know they were all together. Paul Tazewell, who won for 'Death Becomes Her,' slid in the line, just as the 'Sunset' crew was being let in. Mia Farrow recalls abruptly leaving ‘strange' Joan Crawford's apartment: ‘I was scared'
Mia Farrow was not a fan of Joan Crawford. In a new Interview magazine piece, Farrow, 80, spoke to fellow Broadway star Cole Escola about Crawford, calling the 'Our Dancing Daughters' actress 'scary.' At the time, Crawford — who was almost 40 years older than Farrow — was married to Pepsi-Cola president Alfred Steele. 'For whatever reason, she started sending a whole refrigerator of Pepsi Cola for my trailer 'cause I was in a TV series called 'Peyton Place,'' Farrow explained. 'I don't particularly like Pepsi Cola, but a lot of Pepsi Cola kept coming to my trailer, more than anyone would ever want. I hung up people's coats for my mom when they came into the house,' Farrow shared. 'And I hung her coat and out falls a flask of alcohol. She grabbed it like that, and she put it in her handbag. Weather forecaster's blunt six-word advice to anyone getting married this week
Our British weather often likes to rain on our parade - quite literally - and if your parade is a wedding this weekend, it is important to note the forecast looks rather bleak Thunderstorms are set to batter most of the UK this weekend - leaving those getting married somewhat in the mire. Brides and grooms, and wedding guests this week should "just cross your fingers and hope," according to one weather forecaster as the picture looks unpleasant. Saturday is most likely to be the worst of a dreary weekend with a band of low pressure moving in from the west. As a result, downpours are expected across large swathes of the UK, including Wales and the Midlands. The rain will be slow to clear too as winds will be light, particularly in the east. Jo Farrow, meteorologist at Netweather, wrote on the service's blog: "Take a raincoat or an umbrella and if it's a wedding, just cross your fingers and hope. You can't do anything to change where these showers will head and a weather app won't tell you that detail." Temperatures exceeded 20C in parts of the UK on Wednesday, including at Kew Gardens in southwest London, but it was wet in northern parts, especially along the Cumbrian coastline. This divide looks set to remain for the next couple of days until Saturday's unpleasant picture. The heaviest of Saturday's rain - as much as 30mm - will fall across north Wales. Thunderstorms will be widespread - even if the rain isn't as dense - as the low pressure moves southeast over the course of the day. While it will be cloudy on Sunday, the forecast looks drier. However, lingering showers are likely along the North Sea coast as far north as Aberdeenshire to Suffolk in the south. Ms Farrow added: "The signal for a low pressure on Saturday is strong. There is slight uncertainty about the exact timing of its sweep across the UK. However, there will be heavy downpours, the risk of hail and thunderstorms, and large puddles for England and Wales with hefty downpours for Scotland." No flood warnings are in place at this stage but the Environment Agency advises people to monitor its website for changes. Waterways across the Midlands, including the River Severn, are likely to be made subject to warnings or alerts in the coming day as computer models offer forecasters more data about the ridge of low pressure. Writing on its website, the Met Office says: "Staying changeable with sunny spells and showers on Friday. Heavier and more frequent showers on Saturday, with hail and thunder possible. Drier on Sunday. Often breezy and feeling rather cool." The pattern is set to continue into next week. The website adds: "Changeable weather across the UK at the start of this period with showers or some longer spells of rain spreading in from the Atlantic. The heaviest and most prolonged rain will probably be across parts of the north and northwest, with the southeast likely driest."

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, 82, is making headlines after being photographed with a young blonde woman at a Texas bar. The woman has been identified as Jessica Jane Farrow, a real estate manager at Vuori Clothing, Inwood Tavern in Dallas, the Daily Mail reported. Farrow's Instagram handle, @jessicajanefarrow, has the bio, 'Books, Real Estate @vuoriclothing, Philanthropy, Fashion, Wine, Art, Travel, Wellness… and more books.' Last October, sheappeared on the LivBtr podcast after being diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. At the time, she opened up about her health journey to remission. Jones has been married to Eugenia 'Gene' Jones, 81, since 1963. The couple have been happily married, and nothing about his photos with Farrow suggests anything other than the fact that the Cowboys owner was simply taking a selfie with a fan. Despite Jones' high-profile status, his wife has always maintained a relatively private life. She is a former Miss Arkansas USA. The couple have three children – Stephen, Charlotte, and Jerry Jr. All of the pair's children hold executive positions within the Cowboys organization. The Cowboys are now preparing for the 2025 NFL season under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer. The team is reportedly focusing on improvement after their upsetting 7–10 record from the previous season. Their return to playoff contention could be challenging in an improved NFC East. TheDallas Cowboys website praises Jones for having 'brought unprecedented results and success to one of the world's most popular sports entities.' The website adds of Jones, 'His more than three-decade long journey reached a rare pinnacle with his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the 2017 class of enshrinees, as Jones became just the 15th owner in history to earn a bust in Canton.'

Jet stream 'buckle' could send temperatures soaring as maps show exact date
Forecasts suggest a period of good weather could be on the way for Brits thanks to a potential 'buckle' in the jet stream - meaning the start of June could be a hotter than expected Brits could be set for some scorching weather conditions as forecasts suggest the jet stream could "buckle". Netweather's latest forecast states that by the end of May, there could be signs we are heading into a " sunnier" beginning to June. "There are hints that the jet stream could begin to buckle by May 30 and the Azores high build towards [southwest] England," said forecaster Jo Farrow. "This would interrupt the westerly unsettled flow and could herald a drier, sunnier weekend for the start of June." The jet stream impacts weather in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland by influencing the movement and strength of weather systems, ultimately dictating whether we experience settled warm weather or unsettled, wetter conditions. The Met Office explains: "Sometimes, like in a fast-moving river, the jet stream's movement is very straight and smooth. However, its movement can buckle and loop, like a river's meander. This will slow things up, making areas of low pressure move less predictably." Sadly, hopes of a hot Bank Holiday weekend remain tempered. Ms Farrow added: 'This Bank holiday weekend does look mixed with bands of rain, particularly at night, along with scattered showers.' The following weekend could see temperatures begin to rise, however. Temperature anomaly maps suggest June 4 could bring much higher temperatures than normal for this time of year. For the period of May 28 to June 6, the Met Office said there is most likely to be 'changeable' weather with 'further frontal systems running east into the UK bringing further spells of rain' and 'showery interludes'. There are also signs strong winds could develop, particularly in the northwest. Of a potential regional split in the weather, the Met Office said: 'With time the signs are that systems will increasingly track to the northwest of the country, with the south starting to see longer, drier interludes while the northwest continues to see more in the way of rain and at times strong winds, temperatures are expected to be slightly above average overall, but will be cooler in any prolonged periods of rainfall. "Meanwhile there is the possibility of some very warm, perhaps hot conditions developing, especially in the south and these bring with them the chance of thunderstorms.' In its long range forecast for June 7 until June 21, the Met Office said there is likely to be 'changeable weather across the UK' that has a 'mixture of Atlantic weather systems moving in from the west interspersed with dry and sunny periods'. It said this will mean wetter conditions tending to be across the northwest of the UK, with the south and southeast likely to see more in the way of dry weather. The forecast added: 'Temperatures are most likely to be near normal or slightly above in the north and west, perhaps with some hot spells at times, especially across the south.'
