Mia Farrow, Andrew Scott and Jean Smart Celebrate the Tony Awards Over Burgers and Fries at the Carlyle Hotel
After the after parties, come the after, after parties.
Following the Tony Awards, many attendees flitted off to cast celebrations and the official MoMA party before landing at the annual event at the Carlyle, hosted by Rick Miramontez and John Gore. Upon entering, guests were met with camera flashes before entering into a dark, sea of people floating from booth-to-bar at the hotel, before hitting the back room where a band played songs like 'Come Fly With Me.'

Jean Smart, currently starring in the one-woman show 'Call Me Izzy,' stayed cozy in a booth snacking on sliders and fries, which were being passed around the entire evening. While she remained seated most of the night, it didn't stop people from going up to her and complimenting her performance. The 'Hacks' star graciously chatted with each person, shaking hands and laughing. After several minutes speaking with the star, one guest bragged to a friend: 'We have become very best friends with Jean Smart.…That's all we need in life.' Later on in the evening, she and actress Zoey Deutch, who wore a black, sequin gown, were all smiles, deep in conversation.
Equally busy was Mia Farrow who chatted with Andrew Scott and sipped on a glass of white wine. Partygoers weren't shy to go up to the actress and compliment her on her role in the play 'The Roommate.' One fan said: 'You're incredible. We need to see more of you,' to which she very demurely responded 'Thank you. Bless you,' rubbing them on the arm. Farrow was seemingly just as excited about seeing Broadway's finest, as they were about meeting her. Ahead of the event, Farrow was eager to see Jonathan Groff perform and afterward was just as excited to gush about host Cynthia Erivo. Farrow departed at around 1:30 a.m., someone in her party saying it was time to get her home.
Ariana DeBose, who hosted the Tony Awards last year, similarly said Erivo's hosting was one of the highlights of her evening…that and 'Jonathan Groff standing on Keanu Reeves' during his performance from 'Just in Time,' she said, laughing. Of course, DeBose, who was in the original cast of 'Hamilton,' also raved about getting to perform for the 10th anniversary during the awards. 'I'm biased,' she said before slinking off to sip her drink in a booth with friends.
Meanwhile, Sara Bareilles snaked her way through the party holding up her silver, sequin gown to reveal a pair of white Converse. Busy Philipps arrived with soft pink hair, staying close to a small group of friends throughout the evening. Scott passed off his drink to pose for a slew of photos that lit up the dark bar area with flash.
While guests mingled, some were pulled into a private area for interviews. Meanwhile, upstairs, a neon dance floor remained unused at 1:30 a.m., though a DJ did perform. Stations for late night food were also ready to go on the upper level for the inevitable munchies.
At 1:45 a.m., a long line was forming of Tony goers still waiting to get into the party, including a large group of cast members from 'Sunset Blvd.' who all raised their hand in unison to let the bouncer know they were all together. Paul Tazewell, who won for 'Death Becomes Her,' slid in the line, just as the 'Sunset' crew was being let in.

Amal Clooney Channeled Rita Hayworth With Bouncy Waves at the 2025 Tony Awards
All products featured on Glamour are independently selected by Glamour editors. However, when you buy something through our retail links, Condé Nast may earn an affiliate there's one thing Amal Clooney is going to do, she's going to show up with some of the best glam at any event. From gala looks to her recent Cannes Film Festival dress-code-breaking style, Clooney goes all out on the red carpet—and looks good doing it. And her appearance at the Tony Awards was no different. At this year's 78th annual Tony Awards, held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 8, Clooney walked the red carpet in an Old Hollywood–style pearl-adorned dress with a big, glam blowout to match. Though she was there to support husband George Clooney, who was nominated for best performance by an actor in a leading role in a play for his performance as Edward Murrow in Good Night, and Good Luck (it was also his Broadway debut!), Amal Clooney really stole the show. We've been saying that super-long waves are back for the season, and based on last night's look, it looks as though Clooney is on board with it too. Channeling 1940s actor Rita Hayworth, celebrity hairstylist and colorist Dimitris Giannetos created her glamorous look for the evening. 'Inspired by the pearls [on her dress] and Old Hollywood dress, I wanted to give her classic Rita Hayworth glam,' Giannetos said in a press release. And that he did: Clooney walked the carpet with big, bouncy, and loose waves, showing off some bronde highlights to brighten things up around her face. Her hair's slight side part further let her inner Rita Hayworth shine through. To get the look, he 'started with towel-dried hair and blow-dried it using a round brush to create volume,' Giannetos explained in the release. Then, 'I placed her hair in rollers and let them set.' He left the rollers in until her makeup was done. The longer you leave hair rollers in, the curlier your hair will look and the longer-lasting the waves will be. 'Once makeup was done, I removed the rollers and brushed out her hair using a paddle brush,' Giannetos further explained. 'To hold the style and keep everything frizz-free for the red carpet, I finished with plenty of L'Oréal Paris Elnett Hairspray.' He didn't say exactly which Elnett spray he used, but we love the original scented version of the hairspray (if you want to wear a perfume or hair mist, opt for the unscented one). $16.00, Amazon Usually celebs have separate hair and makeup artists to do their glam before an event, but Clooney kept things streamlined and simple for the Tony Awards. Giannetos was on double duty last night—not only did he create that Old Hollywood hair, but he also did her makeup in between. So while her hair was setting in rollers, he went in with Charlotte Tilbury products to complete the vintage glam look. 'The vibe we were going for was a soft Old Hollywood glamour with neutral coral tones,' Giannetos said in the release. After her skin was prepped with products, including editor-loved Charlotte's Magic Cream, he used Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint Hydrating Foundation and Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, among other makeup products, for a radiant, healthy glow that lasted Clooney all night. $38.00, Nordstrom $65.00, Sephora Catharine Malzahn is the contributing associate beauty editor at Glamour.
