Kush Jotwani After playing the role of Farzaan in Dil Dosti Dilemma , Kush Jotwani is now set to appear in the upcoming thriller Knock Knock…Kaun Hai?, sharing screen space with Aadhya Anand and Arjun Deswal. Reflecting on what drew him to the project, he says, 'Knock Knock… Kaun Hai? allowed me to tap into my own past experiences and use those moments as tools for the show. It's important to bring your personal edge to the script — that's what gives it authenticity. It was physically and mentally challenging, but I loved every bit of it because it pushed me out of my comfort zone.' As a viewer, the actor gravitates towards intense genres. 'Romance, psychological thrillers , and horror — I enjoy all three, but if I had to choose, I'd say I have a slight inclination toward psychological thrillers. There's something thrilling about diving into the minds of layered characters and unravelling their complexities,' he shares. Kush also hopes to explore characters and stories that spark larger conversations. 'It's vital to bag roles that carry a message or reflect a reality that society often overlooks. As actors, we have the privilege and responsibility of showing the world that 'this also exists'. That's the beauty of acting — you step into lives you never imagined, and through those characters, you find a part of yourself,' he states. On dealing with the competitive nature of the industry, he says, 'Competition should always be healthy. It should never shake your sense of self. At the end of the day, your individuality is your biggest strength — no one else can bring what you do to a character.'
