Not-So-Stealth Luxury: Deluxe New Drops From H. Moser x Cie. & Richard Mille

When it comes to the world of watches, there's luxurious, and then there's downright divine. From low-key releases for a select few, to spotlight-stealing crown jewels – you'll find that the extravagant watches highlighted here aren't just accessories, but otherworldly creations meant to take your outfit to the next level. H. Moser & Cie.'s Streamliner Skeleton Rainbow H. Moser & Cie. are back to unleash another colourful creation that's sure to make even a rainbow blush. Introducing the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Rainbow! Precious stones are not typically used by Moser in their watches. This new model, however, shows a conscious decision to highlight the movement's beauty, balance, and even overall minimalism through the use of brilliance. As a result, the watch successfully combines watchmaking skills with jewellery artistry. Featuring steel or 5N red gold, this timepiece has 60 vividly-coloured baguette-cut sapphires. The stones are subtly positioned in the centre of the case in a dual gradient; one gradient mimics the rainbow's colours, while the other highlights the Streamliner 40mm cushion-shaped case. The fully-skeletonised HMC 814 movement, which is fully visible through the watch's face, is also aesthetically enhanced by the gemstones. The Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Rainbow is available for enquiries now. You can also reserve a unit for yourself for CHF159,000 (~RM814,703) at H. Moser & Cie.'s official website. Richard Mille's RM72-01 'Charles Leclerc' Edition Charles Leclerc, a Ferrari F1 driver and long-time brand ambassador, helped Richard Mille discreetly unveil their newest limited-edition watch. Inspired by the Monégasque driver's signature colours and racing heritage, the brand's automatic flyback chronograph has been boldly reinterpreted in the new RM72-01 'Charles Leclerc.' Honouring the Monegasque flag, the watch is finished in white Quartz TPT with eye-catching red stripes. The red-and-white motif is maintained by a skeletonised dial that highlights chronograph counters with racing influences while removing hour numerals. The date window is framed in red and white, and the black crown mimics the twisting motion of a high-torque Formula One tyre. The watch, which is powered by the CRMC-1 calibre, has a 50-hour power reserve, a function selector, and a flyback chronograph with 30-minute and 24-hour counters. With a platinum rotor and ceramic bearings for high-efficiency winding, it operates at 28,800 vph. Although the release was just confirmed, Leclerc has been wearing the 38.4mm x 47.34mm watch for weeks. The RM72-01 'Charles Leclerc,' which is limited to just 150 pieces and costs US$330,000 (~RM1,407,777), is reportedly already being delivered to a few chosen clients. You can visit Richard Mille's official website for more details.

Lewis Hamilton issues health update as beloved companion suffers serious illness

Lewis Hamilton's fame has made his beloved bulldog Roscoe one of the most prominent pooches on the planet, but the Ferrari F1 star's ageing canine has been unwell of late Lewis Hamilton said his beloved dog Roscoe is suffering from pneumonia as he offered an update on his faithful companion's condition. But despite the bulldog's condition and advanced age, the Ferrari star hopes to bring his pooch back to the Formula 1 paddock. Roscoe has become an unexpected star among F1 fans. He has visited many paddocks all over the globe with Hamilton keen to be with his dog whenever possible despite his hectic schedule. ‌ So there was widespread worry when it was confirmed that Roscoe had been unwell. And, speaking to reporters including Mirror Sport in the Ferrari motorhome at Imola this week, the Brit opened up on what has been ailing his precious pet. ‌ "He's 12-and-a-half years old, so he's an old boy," smiled Hamilton. "He had pneumonia, but he's fine now, but definitely this is a time where every time I get a text message from the lady who's looking after him, my heart stops for a second. "You know, what's next? I really want to try and bring him to Silverstone and take him to Monza and cheer him up. I was with him before Miami [the race before Imola]. He still wants to play. He still has that kind of spirit but he sleeps a lot." The British Grand Prix at Silverstone is seven weeks away, while the Italian Grand Prix at Monza takes place in September. Though this weekend's Imola race is his first in Italy as a Ferrari driver, the Monza race is regarded as the team's true home race. At the height of Roscoe's illness, his trainer Kirsten McMillan opened up on the treatment that he was receiving. "He is going to his vet today. This is a vet that practises veterinary medicine where she combines Eastern and Western, that's an integrative pet practice," she said on social media. "She's a real vet – she went to Davis [a top veterinary school in the US] and everything – but she went for a few years of additional training in holistic methods, Chinese medicine, acupuncture and things like that. ‌ "What she is going to do with him today is a high-dose Vitamin C IV drop and this is supportive care. This is in addition to the strong antibiotics that he is correctly on for his pneumonia. And she'll do acupuncture on him, so this supports him." Hamilton spoke about his initial experiences of being in Italy as a Ferrari driver, including his first visit to the team motorhome used at all European races. "I've walked past Ferrari [hospitality] and never went inside. If I'm really being honest, I was always too scared to go inside being from a different team," he admitted. "So today is another realisation and feeling. You know that Italians are extremely passionate about it. It's a lot more than you expect when you're actually in it. And it's beautiful."

Towards the end of last season, the Milton Keynes team thought the papaya squad of using water to cool its tyres. That would allow McLaren to better prevent wear and tear and keep its Pirellis in the optimal operating window for longer. Despite the FIA conducting a probe into the accusations and finding no wrongdoings, Red Bull have refused to let it go. Seven-time champion Sir Lewis, 40, will hope it can inspire him to his first grand prix win with the team in tomorrow's race. Meanwhile, Ralf Schumacher has said he believes Hamilton will retire before his Ferrari contract expires at the end of the 2026 season. He told Sky Germany's F1 podcast: "He just can't cope with the car. "We talk a lot about Lando Norris [and his lack of belief], but it's almost worse with him. You can see that he's really slumped over. "If you're standing there at some point and have no more resources and are permanently slower, then you lose everything. "I know from my own experience: if it goes on like this, it's no fun anymore. "Then at some point, he wakes up in the morning and thinks to himself: 'Why am I doing this to myself? I'm no longer having fun, I can't do it anymore. I'm getting in the way of my team." 3 Lewis Hamilton will compete at the Miami Grand Prix Credit: Getty Lewis Hamilton blasts 'big opportunity missed' after Ferrari strategy blunder at F1 Australia Grand Prix Unlock even more award-winning articles as The Sun launches brand new membership programme - Sun Club.
