Vodafone launches updated Glastonbury app as it boosts festival network capacity
Vodafone has launched the 2025 version of its Glastonbury app including new features.
Updates for the music lovers attending this year's event, headlined by The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo, include live location sharing on the Glastonbury map, and step count tracking so Festival-goers can compare to see who covered the most ground.
Last year the app was downloaded 226,215 times by ticket holders visiting Worthy Farm or watching at home.
Vodafone said its network capacity at the festival, which opens on Wednesday, will be its highest ever after data consumption hit more than 225 terabytes last year
Other updates include automatic updates to shared line-ups helping Festival-goers spot who their friends are seeing and allowing them to plan their day accordingly; the ability to shortlist acts via 'Add to Favourites', helping fans distinguish between their locked line-up and their top considerations at one quick glance; and a new map search feature, making it easier to navigate Worthy Farm
