Festival of Nations set to return in 2025 after facing funding cuts
ST. LOUIS – The Festival of Nations is set to return to Tower Grove Park in 2025 after the event was briefly paused due to cuts in federal funding. The Festival of Nations is an annual event from the International Institute of St. Louis that showcases and celebrates food, music, culture, and goods from more than 80 nations around the world. The return of the festival comes after the International Institute of St. Louis, the organization behind it, was forced to temporarily pause planning for the event after facing a temporary staff furlough that affected more than 60% of their staff across the state. Missouri Highway Patrol reopens probe into Crocker overdose death As the International Institute of St. Louis still manages to navigate the cuts, the organization has implemented cost-saving measures, including cuts to its marketing budget and a loss of talent that would typically perform at the annual event. The Festival of Nations is set to take place on August 23 and 24 in Tower Grove Park. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
