Robbers crash into cash van with a luxury vehicle
SAPS are still on scene, processing the cash-in-transit robbery that took place this morning.
The cash van overturned when a Mercedes crashed into it just off the N12 off-ramp towards the R555.
The robbers started shooting and ordered the occupants of the Fidelity Cash Van to get out.
Three armed men told the occupants to 'sleep' on the grass.
A few minutes later, the cash van was bombed twice.
The robbers fled in a Hilux bakkie and a Nissan Hardbody.
Unverified reports indicate that the robbers got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
