Los Angeles magazine Presents: Angels of Comedy – A Night of Laughter and Giving Back

Los Angeles magazine, in partnership with KNEKT TV, was proud to present Angels of Comedy, an unforgettable night of laughter, community, and generosity that took place on Thursday, February 13, at the historic Engine Co. No. 28. This one-of-a-kind comedy benefit raised vital funds to support victims of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Pasadena Community against the backdrop of one of L.A.'s oldest firehouses, guests gathered for an evening filled with humor and heart, indulging in a classic Firehouse Chili spread featuring both beef and vegan options, alongside fresh cornbread, cocktails from Garrison Brothers, Golden Eagle Vodka, and Mezcal 33, wine, and beer from DTLA's Boomtown Brewery. The atmosphere was electric as host Sharon Fredrickson guided the audience through an exhilarating lineup of some of L.A.'s most talented comedians, including Ashley Burgess, Kwame Siegel, Sandy Stec, Peter S. Kim, Maxi Witrak, Kim McVicar, Renee Percy, and Carla Collins. Each performance brought waves of laughter, uniting guests in a shared moment of joy while supporting a critical the comedy, the event featured special appearances by Los Angeles magazine's February Cover Artists, Guerin Swing and Robert Vargas, who showcased their individual magazine covers. Sponsors Boomtown Brewery, Garrison Brothers, Gelato Festival, Golden Eagle Vodka, Hollywood Creative Alliance, KNEKT TV, and Mezcal 33 also played a vital role in making the night possible, highlighting the power of community-driven initiatives.
