Driving the Next Evolution in Digital Commerce Video commerce is no longer optional—it's the future of digital sales. Consumer behaviors are changing fast, with shoppers demanding instant, immersive, and interactive experiences that static e-commerce simply can't match. Brands leveraging video commerce have seen up to a 246% increase in conversions, 130% increase in engagement time, a 38% increase in repeat purchases, and a 33% reduction in product returns. (Firework) "Brands today are under pressure to deliver richer, faster, and more personalized experiences. Video commerce isn't just about content— it's a strategic imperative that helps brands accelerate their path to purchase," said Unni Kurup, Director of Consulting at Theorem. "With Theorem and Firework together, brands can finally operationalize video commerce at scale without the heavy lift." Through this partnership: Theorem brings its proven, proprietary commerce framework and deep MarTech expertise to guide brands through the complexity of starting and scaling video commerce initiatives. Firework brings best-in-class technology, enabling dynamic video commerce experiences to increase conversions through shoppable video, video showrooms, virtual 1:1 chat capabilities and AI video assistant. Together, Theorem and Firework provide a fully integrated, white label solution that empowers brands to seamlessly scale without adding operational complexity, ensuring measurable outcomes tied directly to KPIs like AOV uplift, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value (CLV). "Video commerce represents the evolution of digital sales—more interactive, immersive, and engaging than ever before," said Jay Kulkarni, CEO and Founder at Theorem. "It's a strategy for growth and scale when executed effectively. By combining Theorem's full-service expertise with Firework's cutting-edge video technology, we're delivering an accelerated, scalable solution that empowers brands to embrace and expand video commerce with ease." 'Together, we're delivering a blueprint for connected commerce—empowering brands and retailers to deploy personalized, data driven video experiences across the customer journey, translating engagement into sustainable business growth.' Supporting a Strategic Imperative While 95% of digital commerce still happens on eCommerce websites (and not on social platforms), major hurdles around strategy, execution, and optimization have historically made video commerce difficult to scale. Theorem and Firework aim to change that narrative, offering a simplified, scalable, and impactful pathway to success. With the video commerce market expected to surge from $695 billion today to $3.7 trillion by 2029 (CAGR 32%), this partnership positions brands to capitalize on the most important trend shaping the future of retail and commerce. Katy Perry pauses live show as she 'accuses' fan of messaging to Orlando Bloom
Katy Perry stunned her loyal fans by jokingly "accusing" a concert-goer of DMing her husband, Orlando Bloom. Katy, 40, halted her Nevada concert and pinpointed a bewildered songstress gave the fan a stern talking to in front of a full crowd at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise Valley. Much to their surprise. Katy was part way through her set - which was the eleventh in her mammoth 84 date Lifetimes world tour - when she unleashed on the fan. Katy crouched down on her knees to address the fan. She stunningly accused him of sending a number of private messages to hubby actor Orlando. Making eye contact, a video caught by TikTok user 143katyperry, showed Katy telling the fan: "I know why you're here. Listen, if you keep DM-ing my man... you've been doing it for months, ever since the residency. You didn't come to see me play." The fan quickly got excited by the interaction as the Firework singer continued: "If you keep on DM-ing my man I'm going to have you removed - seriously, get your own life." She upped the decibels as she went on: don't want you, Kyle. I'm his wife. I'm his, he's mine... stay the f*** away." While the fan looked stunned, it was soon evident Katy's hit-out was scripted and worked well into one of her latest tunes. Fans screamed in anticipation as they realised the star was about to perform her 2024 single I'm His, He's Mine. Katy's latest tour comes as she faced huge criticism for her recent space trip. She spent a total of 11 minutes on orbit on a trip engineered by Amazon boss, Jeff Bezos, who owns the Blue Origin rocket. However, while her participation was slammed by critics, the musician labelled her treatment as being like a "human piñata". Alongside Katy on the adventure was Jeff's girlfriend Lauren Sanchez, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn. All those on board gushed that their ground-breaking endeavour was 'life-changing'. However, many people, including other A-list celebrities, slammed the flight and the stars who chose to take part in it. Since the journey, the California Girls singer has also been hit with endless memes. But she wasn't prepared to take the stick without hitting back. Taking to the comment section of a post shared by a fan page on Instagram to thank the fans who support her, she wrote: "We're in this beautiful and wild journey together. I can continue to remain true to myself, heart open and honest especially because of our bond. "I love you guys and have grown up together with you and am so excited to see you all over the world this year!" She added: "When the "online" world tries to make me a human Piñata, I take it with grace and send them love, cause I know so many people are hurting in so many ways and the internet is very much so a dumping ground for unhinged and unhealed. "What's real is seeing your faces every night, singing in unison, reading your notes, feeling your warmth. Please know I am ok, I have done a lot work around knowing who I am, what is real and what is important to me. "My therapist said something years ago that has been a game changer, 'no one can make you believe something about yourself that you don't already believe about yourself' and if I ever do have any feelings about it then it's an opportunity to investigate the feeling underneath it." She finished by saying: "I find people to lock eyes and sing with and I know we are healing each other in a small way when I get to do that I'm not perfect, and I actually have omitted that word from my vocabulary, I'm on a human journey playing the game of life with an audience of many and sometimes I fall but... "I get back up and go on and continue to play the game and somehow through my battered and bruised adventure I keep looking to the light and in that light a new level UNLOCKS."

Katy Perry's 'The Lifetimes Tour' concert in Dallas rescheduled as NHL postpones Dallas Stars' Western Conference Finals opener Katy Perry concert rescheduled due to Nuggets playoff game Katy Perry Dallas fans will have to wait an extra day to listen to her hit songs like 'Firework' and 'Teenage Dream' as the American Airlines Center gets ready to play host to a playoff game between the Dallas Stars and the Edmonton Oilers on May 21. This last-minute schedule shift speaks volumes to how the NHL playoffs are given priority even over the biggest pop music acts when it comes to arena booking. As per Dallas Stars president Brad Alberts, the team did not anticipate this point of contention when the initial concert was scheduled, but such overlaps in scheduling are unavoidable. Katy Perry's concert has been rescheduled to Thursday, May 22. Places such as the American Airlines Center have an obvious tenant priority: the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA and the Dallas Stars of the NHL first, followed by concerts and other live performances. While Katy Perry's worldwide popularity is enormous, particularly after her viral Blue Origin space trip adventure, in Dallas, playoff hockey comes first. This is not the first instance that sporting events have caused major tours to relocate. Even mega-artists such as Taylor Swift have had comparable reschedule situations because of arena availability. The logistical issue of hosting a high-energy NHL playoff game and a stadium concert in one evening is an almost impossible task—even if the fans can dream about it. For music enthusiasts as well as hockey fans, this minimal adjustment ensures both events take their turn in the spotlight. Katy Perry jokes about being 'most hated person on the internet'
Katy Perry has made light of the negativity surrounding her public image at a concert on her Lifetimes tour. While on stage in Chicago, the pop star joked about her public image with the crowd. In a clip taken by a concertgoer, Perry reacted to the audience's thunderous applause by quipping, "Well, I thought I was the most hated person on the internet." As the fans continue to clap and cheer, the Firework singer added, "I think that's false!" The show came a few weeks after Perry kicked off her Lifetimes trek in late April. Earlier that month, she was part of Blue Origin's first all-woman space flight - a highly criticised venture that has led to the musician experiencing an influx of negative comments on social media. Before that, the former American Idol judge drew criticism for working with Dr. Luke on her single Woman's World, despite allegations of sexual assault leveraged against him by Kesha. But she's put on a brave face for fans. "Please know I am OK, I have done a lot of work around knowing who I am, what is real and what is important to me," she commented on Instagram in April. "My therapist said something years ago that has been a game changer: 'No one can make you believe something about yourself that you don't already believe about yourself.'"
