Kim Kardashian 'finally' completes legal studies
Kim Kardashian has "finally" graduated from law school. The 44-year-old reality star has been working on the four-year Law Office Study Program since 2019, taking six years due to her work and the COVID-19 pandemic, and on Wednesday (21.05.25) her family and friends got together to celebrate the completion of her studies. Sharing a video of her putting on her graduation cap in what appeared to be a backyard ceremony, Kim wrote on her Instagram Story: "I finally graduated law school after six years!!!" Jessica Jackson, one of the attorneys who had sponsored Kim's programme, gave a speech and praised the Skims founder for her hard work and dedication. She said on stage: "It's an absolute honour to stand here today, not just as mentors, but as witnesses to one of the most inspiring legal journeys we've ever seen. "Six years ago, Kim Kardashian walked into this programme with nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice. No law school lectures, no ivory tower shortcuts, just determination and a mountain of case log books to read. "Over the course of this programme, Kim has dedicated 18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year for six straight years. That's a total of 5,184 hours of legal study, that's time she carved out while raising four children, running businesses, filming television shows and showing up in courtrooms to advocate for others." In another slide, Kim - who has North, 11, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and six-year-old Psalm with ex-husband Kanye West - hugged her mentors as she walked on stage before holding up her certificate of completion. Kim's younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, took to her own Instagram Story to express her pride in her sibling. She said in a video: "I am so proud of Kim. I just left her celebration lunch for graduating law school. "I mean, I cannot believe this is years and years in the making. I'm so proud of her. This was just such a cool accomplishment, and I'm so proud." And Kourtney Kardashian shared a selfie in which she wore Kim's graduation cap. She captioned the picture: "Supportive sister." Kim - who never graduated from college - began an apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm in 2018, opting for a path only offered by four states including California, which meant she didn't have to attend law school. In 2021, she sat the 'baby bar', also known as the First-Year Law Student's Examination, and passed on her fourth attempt. She wrote on X at the time: "OMFGGGG I PASSED THE BABY BAR EXAM!!!! Looking in the mirror, I am really proud of the woman looking back today in the reflection. "For anyone who doesn't know my law school journey, know this wasn't easy or handed to me. "I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!! (I did have COVID on the 3rd try w a 104 fever but I'm not making excuses). 'I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route but it was my only option and it feels so so sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals.(sic)"

On Wednesday, May 21, the 44-year-old reality personality revealed in a series of Instagram Stories posts that she had graduated from her four-year Law Office Study Program . Kim completed the program in six years, rather than four, due to COVID and work, according to PEOPLE. Kim shared a video of what appeared to be a backyard graduation ceremony, when her closest friends and family gathered to commemorate a significant milestone in her legal path. "I finally graduated law school after six years!!!" she captioned a video of herself wearing a graduation cap on stage while speakers praised her on her accomplishments. "It's an absolute honour to stand here today, not just as mentors, but as witnesses to one of the most inspiring legal journeys we've ever seen," Jessica Jackson, one of the solicitors who sponsored Kim's education, said on stage. "Six years ago, Kim Kardashian entered this program with nothing but a strong desire to fight for justice." There are no law school lectures or ivory tower shortcuts; only determination and a mound of case log books to read. Kim's backyard ceremony was a celebration for the whole family. In addition to her children, her sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian Barker attended and expressed their pride in all of her achievements. "I am very proud of Kim. " Kim graduated after PEOPLE reported that she passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) in Los Angeles on March 27. According to the National Conference of Bar Examiners, the assessment is normally done before to the bar exam, and a passing score is required to practise law in California. In 2019, Kim disclosed that she was studying to become an attorney and following in the footsteps of her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr. Although she has yet to take the bar exam, she has spent the past few years working on criminal justice reform and assisting several people in commuting their jail sentences.

PEOPLE just shared an update on Kim Kardashian's law career after she reportedly took the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) in LA, getting closer to her dream of becoming a lawyer slowly but steadily. The National Conference of Bar Examiners explains the MPRE as a major examination prior to the bar, which mandatorily requires a passing score for a candidate to be able to practice law in the state of California. This marked one of Kardashian's many career updates since 2019 when she ventured into becoming an attorney.
