UP Energy Expo showcases renewable solutions

Lucknow: A three-day UP Energy Expo 2025 presenting innovative products and demonstrations that display current developments in solar technology, smart grid systems , and electric vehicles began at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan commenced on Thursday. The UP State chapter of PHDCCI and First View partnered with UPNEDA to organise the event which hosts over 150 participants. The day 1 featured panel sessions with experts discussing the prospects, challenges and advances in renewable energy. The event is designed to reinforce Uttar Pradesh's commitment to sustainable power solutions while fostering collaborations among industry stakeholders. Chief guest state power minister Arivnd Kumar Sharma, in his address, said: "The exhibition would play a vital role in advancing energy independence." He said Ayodhya is set to become the state's leading solar city under Energy Policy 2022, with renewable sources already supplying 10% of its electricity. He said similar installations are underway in 16 more municipal corporations and encouraged entrepreneurs to embrace solar energy investments while assuring full governmental support. Jatinder Singh of PHDCCI highlighted that solar energy is a core element in Uttar Pradesh's trillion-dollar economy chairperson Ashish Kumar Goel said: "UP is rising as an investment hub for solar projects and energy storage, as state govt offers subsidies for improved solar storage initiatives."

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – For students attending Springfield Public Schools, buses are delayed Friday morning. Springfield launches senior tax work-off pilot program According to a post on the Springfield Public School's Facebook page, the school day schedule will go on as normal, but some buses are running late for pickup Friday morning.
