'These heeled Timberland sandals are so comfy I've been wearing them all heatwave week'
Shopping Writer Meghan has got her hands on a new pair of heeled sandles she says 'don't need breaking in' as she raves their 'so comfy I haven't stopped wearing them this spring heatwave' The sunny weather and rising temperatures means its the time to get your favourite sandals out of the wardrobe. Gone are the days of wearing thick socks and warm boots, we're all looking for the perfect pair of open-toed shoes to keep our feet from feeling the heat in this summery weather. And I think I've found the perfect pair. I recently added these Allington Heights Fisherman Sandals from Timberland to my summer shoe collection, and I haven't taken them off since. Coming in fashionable black or brown, these leather sandals boast all of the stability and durability of the classic Timberland boot, with a chic amd trendy sandal design that makes them perfect for this spring heatwave. These Fisherman Sandals feature an upper made with Premium Timberland leather that makes them stylish and versatile, offering plenty of potential to dress up or down for various occasions. They also have an adjustable buckle closure, which I've found eternally useful as someone with wider feet but fairly narrow ankles. Plus, they're super easy to slide on and off, making them a great pick whether you're heading out for dinner or spending the day by the sea. Equipped with synthetic suede lining that ensures the leather straps don't chaff on particularly hot days. But the crown jewel of these shoes is the OrthoLite footbed that offers unbelieavable comfort that trumps any pair of heeled sandals I've owned before. The OrthoLite comfort foam insoles are super lightweight, and they helpfully provide moisture transport, unlike alternative sandal designs, ensuring your feet don't go slipping and sliding when they start sweating. Armed with antimicrobial function, and long-term cushioning, these soles are made from ultra-breathable material that won't break down or lose cushioning over time, keeping your footwear comfortable and supportive with the added assurety of longevity - so these beauties can make a reappearance next summer and the summer after, etc. I found that there's no need to break them in and I haven't experienced any rubbing or discomfort in the two weeks I've been wearing them non-stop - even when my feet have been feeling the heatwave temperatures. Thanks to the rubber lug outsole, you get all the grip and stability you'd find with traditional Timberland boots, which has come in handy this spring as the weather remains a bit unpredictable - so I've not had to worry about losing my footing when sudden showers arrive. Plus, if you're like me and don't tend to wear heels often, the added grip helps make you feel more stable with every step. Though the heel may look high, I've found that I don't even notice the added height while I'm wearing them - they're that comfortable. The addition of the fashionable strap design and elevated heel makes them a great choice for all occasions, from casual outtings to summer events - all while keeping your feet comfortable and your outfit on point.
