Veteran Clinton Bonnell has been missing for nearly a month
(NewsNation) — A retired Green Beret has been missing for nearly a month after failing to show up for a college class in North Carolina on Jan. 27. Clinton Bonnell, 50, had been stationed at Fort Bragg before retiring from the military and was living in the suburbs of Fayetteville, North Carolina. He had enrolled at Methodist University and was taking classes to become a physician's assistant. His sister said Bonnell went to work out at Fit4Life gym before he went to campus on the last day where his whereabouts were known. 'High-risk' Chicago teen and 2-month-old son missing: Police Bonnell didn't show up for class the next day, raising the alarm among classmates and staff. His family said disappearing was out of character for Bonnell, who is married and has a daughter. His training in the military means he learned how to defend himself, which has also made his sister fear the circumstances around his disappearance. Bonnell is six feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes and weighs 195 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, brown pants and a plaid button-down shirt. Anyone with information on Bonnell should contact the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office and investigating officer Detective Sergeant J. McLeod at (910) 677-5548. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. A STOURBRIDGE personal trainer has launched new bungee fitness sessions – which offer a "workout like no other". Sally-Ann Cook, who runs Fit 4 Life Personal Training Studio in Amblecote, has introduced Bungee Blast Fitness classes. The workout involves being secured into a harness attached to bungee cords fixed to the ceiling, and Sally-Ann is one of the few instructors in the UK to offer the unique form of exercise. The weight range for participants is from six stone to 20 stone, and sizes 6 to 22, making it accessible to many. Sessions consist of a series of movements that can only be done with the bungee system, which gives participants the feeling of flying through the air. Sally-Ann said: "You can take off from the ground and it really is the best feeling."
