Centre, Balochistan vow to eliminate terror
The federal government has decided to continue assisting the Balochistan government in operations against terrorists until their complete elimination. According to Express News, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta on Saturday. They discussed law and order in the restive province and the measures being taken to eliminate terrorists associated with Fitna-e-Hindustan, a term used to refer to separatist organizations which get support from arch rival India. Both leaders paid tribute to the martyrs and offered prayers for them. Later, a special meeting on law and order was jointly chaired by Naqvi and Bugti. In this meeting, in-depth discussions were held on security operations carried out in various areas. CM Bugti briefed the attendees on the overall security situation and measures being taken to ensure peace. The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the provincial action plan and examined the challenges being faced. Interior Minister Naqvi asserted that the terrorists will meet a horrific and exemplary fate. "We will bring Indian-sponsored terrorists and their facilitators to justice. Those who challenge the writ of the state will be dealt with with an iron hand. The federal government will continue to fully support Balochistan in the war against terrorism," he said. Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti noted that the ongoing war was not just the war of security forces but the war of the entire nation. He stated that all state institutions are working in complete harmony to restore peace in Balochistan. "The sacrifices of our security forces and citizens will not go in vain. Operations against elements involved in terrorism have been intensified and peace will be established at all costs," he said. Balochistan inspector general of police (IGP), Inspector general of the Frontier Corps North, deputy inspector general (DIG) of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), DIG Special Branch, director general of Levies, and other senior officials from the Home Department attended the meeting.

In a statement released on Saturday, Naqvi co-chaired the special session at the Chief Minister's Secretariat with Chief Minister Sarfraz Ahmad Bugti. The meeting focused on the overall security situation in Balochistan, the performance of law enforcement agencies, and ongoing operations against 'Fitna-e-Hindustan' – a term used for Indian-sponsored terrorists operating in the region. Attendees included the Balochistan IGP, Frontier Corps (North) IG, Counter Terrorism Department DIG, Special Branch DIG, Levies DG, senior officials from the Home and Tribal Affairs Department, and other representatives of law enforcement agencies. He also identified obstacles impeding the plan's execution and invited suggestions to overcome them. Addressing the gathering, Naqvi declared that the end of 'Fitna-e-Hindustan' terrorists would be a disgraceful one. He stated that India-backed militants and their facilitators 'have no place to hide in Pakistan' and vowed that they would be brought to justice at any cost. 'Those challenging the writ of the state will be dealt with with an iron hand,' he added. He assured the complete cooperation of the federal government to restore peace in Balochistan. He said the centre stood firmly with the provincial government and that a strong coordination mechanism existed between the two. He also highlighted the resolve and confidence of the nation, expressing optimism that Pakistan would overcome the threats posed by its enemies. Earlier in the day, Naqvi arrived in Quetta for a one-day visit. He was received at the airport by provincial ministers and senior officials. Upon his arrival at the Chief Minister House, he was formally welcomed by CM Bugti. The two leaders also paid tribute to the martyrs and offered prayers for the security personnel who had lost their lives in the line of duty.

Security forces kill four terrorists in Balochistan
Security forces killed four terrorists in a counter-terrorism operation in the Pahrod area of Balochistan province on Saturday night, intelligence sources said on Sunday. The operation targeted operatives of a group identified by authorities as 'Fitna-e-Hindustan', which has been connected to a series of recent attacks in the province. Weapons and a flag belonging to the group were seized from the terrorists during the raid. A clearance operation is ongoing to secure the region. 'Terrorists and facilitators of Fitna-e-Hindustan will be made an example,' said intelligence sources, referring to ongoing counter-terrorism efforts. Earlier, in Kalat district, at least three passengers were killed and seven injured after a passenger coach travelling from Karachi to Quetta came under fire near Niemurgh Cross. In another attack Terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan abducted and executed nine passengers after removing them from buses in Loralai district.

3 killed, 7 injured as passenger bus comes under fire in Balochistan's Kalat
At least three people were killed and seven others injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a passenger bus traveling from Karachi to Quetta in the Kalat district of Balochistan, a government spokesperson said Wednesday. According to Shahid Rind, spokesperson for the Balochistan government, 'Three passengers were martyred and seven others were injured in the tragic incident.' The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Kalat for treatment, where an emergency was declared. He said security forces, the district administration, and rescue teams immediately reached the site, cordoned off the area, and launched a search operation to track down the attackers. The attack was strongly condemned by Pakistani leaders, who blamed the assault on terrorist elements backed by hostile foreign forces. In a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives in what he called a cowardly terrorist attack by 'Fitna-e-Hindustan', a term used by the government for India-backed militants operating in Balochistan. The prime minister offered prayers for the martyrs and wished a swift recovery for the injured. He directed authorities to provide immediate medical assistance to the wounded and vowed a strong response. 'The terrorists who targeted innocent and unarmed civilians will pay a very heavy price,' he said. 'The government and security forces are fully determined to eradicate terrorism from the country.' Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also condemned the attack and described the targeting of innocent passengers as a 'cowardly act.' He said such attacks are part of a wider conspiracy to destabilize the country, adding, 'With the nation's support, we will foil the plots of these Indian-sponsored terrorists.' CTD kills five terrorists, foils major attack in Taunsa Sharif
In a major counter-terrorism breakthrough, the Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Saturday killed five suspected terrorists in Taunsa Sharif during an intelligence-based operation, foiling what officials described as a 'major terror attack.' According to a CTD press release, the operation was launched near the Tri-Border Village after credible intelligence reports indicated the presence of heavily armed militants in the area. The CTD said its team came under fire while attempting to apprehend the suspects, prompting a retaliatory exchange that lasted several hours.
