7 TV shows to watch after Clarkson's Farm season 4

If you're feeling glum after finishing season 4 of Clarkson's Farm, fear not – we've got you covered. The Amazon Prime Video series premiered on Friday, drawing some mixed reviews from critics. Nonetheless, TV fans were able to enjoy the Top Gear star as he attempts to run a farm in the countryside with no previous farming experience. Battling some awful weather, disobedient animals and unresponsive crops, season 4 showed us Jeremy as he was left on his own while Kaleb embarked on a worldwide tour. Jeremy also took on his most ambitious project yet as he opened his The Farmer's Dog pub. But from fishing to food road trips, here are seven TV shows to watch after you're done on Diddly Squat farm. If you love Clarkson's Farm, but wished it was slightly less chaotic and more focused on the beauty of nature, Fletcher's Family Farm could be perfect for you. Following the life of former Emmerdale and Strictly star Kelvin Fletcher and his young family, viewers can enjoy the stunning views of the Peak District. Like Jeremy, Kelvin is a first time father and while there is certainly less chaos, there are still a great deal of laughs and stress. Standout examples include the time when chickenpox hit the family while they waited for their first flock of chickens. Additionally, a vicious run in with a wasp nest also resulted in a hospital trip for a few. Fletcher's Family Farm is available to watch on ITVX. From farming to fishing, Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse could provide exactly what you're looking for if you're all finished on the Diddly Squat farm. The dynamic duo are comedy gold on this BBC series as they embark on a fishing adventure across the UK. As well as showing the natural beauty of the British countryside, Bob and Paul's unique sense of humour is a joy to watch. But it's not just laughs that you'll get here, as the pair delve into themes of life, death and aging. The series has also boasted some fantastic comedy guests, including This Country star Charlie Cooper. Mortimer & Whitehouse Gone Fishing is available to watch on BBC iPlayer. If you're a fan of Clarkson's farm, it's more than likely that you'll also be a fan of The Grand Tour. Jeremy, alongside James May and Richard Hammond, drives across the globe visiting far-flung destinations in this action-packed series. The former Top Gear hosts can be seen in six seasons on the Amazon Prime series. Moving away from a pure focus on car reviews, the trio have some hilarious chemistry between them. While it might not focus on the British countryside, there's certainly a similar level of mayhem here compared to Clarkson's Farm. The Grand Tour is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. We've all been accustomed to the constant bickering between Jeremy and Kaleb on Clarkson's Farm. But if you're after even more arguing, coupled with some delicious food, Gordon, Gino & Fred's Road Trip could be the perfect choice for you. The trio taste some of the most amazing cuisines the world has to offer in this ITV series, from the oldest pizzerias in Italy to American barbecue. Things certainly go pear-shaped, however, and Gino D'Acampo is usually at the heart of it. Gordon, Gino & Fred's Road Trip is available to watch on ITVX. Part of the charm behind Clarkson's Farm is seeing nothing become something great. With BBC's The Repair Shop, you can find a lot more of that as the show explores preservation and craftmanship. First airing back in 2017, the show has become a beloved staple on the BBC. From rare antiques to wacky objects appearing on the Repair Shop, the show has even had audiences in tears with some of the special storylines. The Repair Shop is available to watch on BBC iPlayer. Coming towards the end of this list, this option might seem an obvious one. But there's no doubt that fans of Clarkson's Farm will also be able to enjoy Top Gear. From the older series featuring Jeremy himself alongside James and Richard, to the newer series featuring Paddy McGuinness, Chris Harris and Freddie Flintoff there is plenty to delve into. The crazy stunts and challenges the show manages to pull off is what has kept viewers hooked for years. Top Gear is available to watch on U or BBC iPlayer. Last but not least, Welcome to Wrexham might be able to fill the gaping hole in your life left by Clarkson's Farm. More Trending We know that this is wildly different from running a farm, but seeing the behind the scenes operations behind running a successful football club is sure to satisfy your viewing needs. After taking on the huge risk of purchasing Wrexham FC, Ryan and Rob excel in this hilarious series. While it is at times laugh out loud funny, there's some real emotion beating through this and getting to see the football club improve and rise is exhilarating. Emmerdale's Kelvin Fletcher teases career announcement as fans rush to show support

Former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher has opted for a quieter life away from the spotlight, residing on his peaceful Cheshire farm close to the Peak District National Park since his stellar Strictly Come Dancing win in 2019. The 41-year-old, who played Andy Sugden, is embracing country living. His TV series, Fletcher's Family Farm, won over audiences with its its first two seasons, and hints of a third series have surfaced on social media. The show's fans had enthusiastically responded to earlier teases featuring Kelvin , his wife Liz, and their four children among the pastoral setting with farmyard animals. In February, when Liz announced, "It's a wrap," viewers were disheartened at the indication of the show's hiatus. However, as the lambing season commenced, the family ignited speculation about season three by posting footage of an ewe and her new-born lamb, captivating their followers. Kelvin excitedly shared an Instagram video showcasing the ewe with her lamb, with his family and the filming crew in the backdrop, building anticipation for the new series with a caption: "And you thought we were just showing you a new-born lamb! SERIES 3 is GOOOOOOOO! #fletchersfarm," as covered by the Express. Fans have been quick to express their delight in the comments section. One admirer wrote: "Just the loveliest programme, story, lifestyle... absolute joy/Hats off to you all for following your dreams-and having the courage and determination to do it." Another enthusiast shared their excitement: "Yes! I loved series 1 and 2. I heard series 3 wasn't happening, so this is great news. I love everything that you all do on the farm,". A third supporter praised the family's approach: "I love watching you, you should be so proud of yourselves, fabulous farmers and parents. "A joy to watch, some other celebrity parents should take a leaf out of your book, raising your children brilliantly x." Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz are the proud parents of four children - Marnie, Milo, and twins Maximus and Mateusz. The kids play an integral part in the family's TV series , which highlights their participation in countryside pursuits such as sheep herding and showcases their life in the country. In a recent promotional clip, Kelvin shared his passion for farming, saying: "I honestly believe it's my calling after three years". Liz, however, was quick to remind him that the work on the farm is "never-ending". The couple has also released a book titled 'Fletchers On The Farm: Mud, Mayhem and Madness'. Moreover, Kelvin has started a new podcast that delves into the world of soap operas, exploring storylines from two shows he has appeared in - Coronation Street and Emmerdale. After a twenty-year stint on Emmerdale, Kelvin has now taken up the role of host for 'Off Script', where he interviews current cast members of the ITV soap, providing fans with additional avenues to engage with him.

Fans left divided after Kelvin Fletcher and wife Liz make Instagram announcement

Kevin and Liz Fletcher have revealed their holiday cottage does not allow pets – causing a mixed reaction among fans. The couple took to Instagram to let fans know their renovated property is not dog friendly on Friday (February 7). The pair said they received a 'crazy' response after making their renovated cottage on their family farm in Wincle, Cheshire available for let to holidaymakers. READ MORE: M6 crash: Police, paramedics and firefighters attend scene READ MORE: He wrote an open letter to his new neighbours, the response was more than he ever expected Speaking in the recent episode of the hit ITV show 'Fletcher's Family Farm', Liz Fletcher - wife of former Emmerdale actor Kelvin - said the success of Stag Cottage had "gone above and beyond our expectations". But the couple recently took to Instagram to reveal their popular home does not allow pets – upsetting some dog lovers in the comments. 'I get asked this question a lot so thought this may need to be a grid post,' they said in a post. 'We love dogs but not in the cottage! The post shows a screenshot of a fan asking why the property is not dog friendly. The pair answered: 'The cottage had been finished to the highest standard, I know people love their dogs but I love my furniture and beautifully smelling cottage more!' Fans were quick to voice their support in the comments, one saying: 'Absolutely the right decision. I never book a place if dogs are allowed to stay there.' Another added: 'Someone might have an allergic reaction to dogs, I love dogs but always book a cottage which doesn't allow animals,' while another said: 'You shouldn't have to justify your decision. Dogs frighten many animals and many animals frighten dogs. It's not worth putting your farm animals through any discomfort or dealing with guests who's dogs get spooked.' However, some didn't agree with the statement, saying: 'Feel I have to reply - it's your cottage your rules BUT….. not all dogs smell and actually some are very well behaved - bit unfair to tarnish them all the same - I do understand though - there are others (and owners too) who are not - so I understand.' Another said: 'I'd rather stay somewhere that allows dogs rather than kids!!!,' while one fan added: 'Some people smell to. Just saying.' One commenter said: 'Don't think this was the best choice of wording. You love your material things more than someone loves their living pet.' The couple's show, Fletchers' Family Farm is now in its second series and broadcasts every Sunday morning on ITV1. It offers a glimpse into the Fletcher's family life living in Wincle, in the hills above Congleton and Macclesfield. The couple resides on their expansive 120-acre farm alongside their four young offspring. Fans of the show have watched Kelvin, who once portrayed the character of farmer Andy Sugden in Emmerdale, embrace his actual farming duties. He said during the latest episode: "Like a lot of farmers we have to diversify to generate extra income to support our livestock and this year one of our most profitable streams has come from our cottage that we renovated and converted for people to stay in." The overnight stay can be booked via Sykes Holiday Cottages where it's already been racking up five star reviews. One reviewer, Rich, said last month: "The cottage had everything we needed and we received fast and helpful advice and support from Liz. I'd recommend Stag Cottage as an idyllic, quiet and cosy home for anyone's restful holiday. Nearby we found nice villages, pubs and amazing walks. Many thanks for the opportunity to enjoy your lovely home."
