Ask us anything on protecting Florida's state parks! Join our upcoming Reddit AMA
Readers and Florida state parks enthusiasts:
We're hosting an "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) on Reddit as part of a campaign by the USA Today Network – Florida Opinion Group to support Senate Bill 80 and protect Florida's state parks from development.
Our team of Opinion journalists wants to make sure that the bill makes it to Gov. Ron DeSantis' desk and is signed into law.
And to help make that happen, we're hosting an AMA on Thursday, April 10, at 1 p.m. ET so you can make your voice heard and ask us what you want to know about Florida's state parks, the legislation and more. Find us on r/florida.
First, a little more about our AMA moderators, Mark Woods and Rick Christie.
Mark Woods (u/MarkWoodsTimesUnion) is a columnist at the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville since 2001. He's the author of Florida Book Awards winner Lassoing the Sun: A Year in America's National Parks.
Rick Christie (u/ThePalmBeachPost) is Florida State Opinion Group Editor for the USA Today Network, overseeing Opinion content published by 18 Gannett news sites in Florida.
Join us on r/florida on Thursday, April 10, starting at 1 p.m. ET.
