Tourism conclave draws Rs 3k cr investment pledges for Rewa, Shahdol
Bhopal: CM Mohan Yadav on Saturday inaugurated a two-day regional tourism conclave in Rewa, marking the beginning of what he called a "new chapter" in the state's tourism development.
The event saw investment pledges of over Rs 3,000 crore aimed at boosting tourism in Rewa and Shahdol divisions.
The CM said a new chapter in tourism development began at the Rewa regional tourism conclave, where leading investors expressed their keen interest to invest over Rs 2,710 crore in the tourism sector of Rewa and Shahdol divisions.
The govt stated Ram Ola, managing director of FlyOla, expressed investment intention of Rs 700 crore, indicating the beginning of large-scale tourism projects in the area.
Divyansh Singh Baghel and Vindhya Pride announced investment plans of Rs 500 crore.
Ajit Samdariya, managing director of Samdariya builders, proposed an investment of Rs 300 crore. Gajendra Singh Rathore of Jungle Camp India expressed interest in investing Rs 150 crore.
Gaurav Pratap Singh and Pushpraj Singh each committed Rs 100 crore, while Manvendra Singh Shekhawat, Managing Director of Rajasthan Fort and Palace, intends to invest Rs 100 crore in developing heritage properties.
