Iowa basketball will be taking part in a Thanksgiving week holiday classic in 2025. As more details about next season's non-conference schedule take shape, Total Sports Consulting announced on Monday that Iowa basketball will take part in the 2025 Acrisure Series. Iowa will play two games in the event on Nov. 25 and on Nov. 26 from Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, Calif. Advertisement Other confirmed teams for the Acrisure Series include Colorado, Minnesota, Utah, Stanford, Washington, San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Jose State, California Baptist, San Diego, Nevada, Loyola Chicago, Tulsa and Northern Iowa. The schedule for the Acrisure Series is still being finalized and matchups will be announced at a later date. All games will be televised on TNT Sports, truTV or MAX. The Hawkeyes will also be playing Xavier on Friday, Nov. 14. The 6-foot-9, 215 pound forward averaged 14.1 points and 9.1 rebounds per game while shooting 54.8% from the field, 41.3% from 3-point range and 78.4% from the free-throw line. A native of Málaga, Spain, Folgueiras played in and started all 35 games last season as he led the Colonials to the Horizon League regular season and tournament championships.
